200-500°F Hot Straightening Comb for Wigs: Pressing Tool for Black Hair, Men's Hair Straightener, Women's Hair Heat Styler for Thick and African American Hair

The main reason I bought this was to assist with my child's very thick hair outside of just using a blow dryer. This really works when used right and won't damage the hair if done so. The different heat settings really work and gets hot very fast. I love the protective attachment because it really works when protecting you and the equipment but doesn't get hot as well. So far using this cuts half the prep time. I will continue to use this electronic method verses the stove comb as it works without the extreme heat from stove. The price is well worth it. Now I'll pick one up as a gift.

This is by far the best hot comb I have had in years. It gets really hot and I only had to make 1 pass with it. Having the guard on it allowing me to use the back to go around the edges was excellent. This works better than expected and I have extremely course thick hair. The price can’t be beat for the way this performed. Worked better than the one I paid $50 for at the beauty supply that didn’t heat up hardly at all.

I thought this is a very good product. The comb could be bigger. Other than that it did a great job in my hair. I like it alot

This hot comb is light weight, the heat settings are so easy to adjust, it works , one thing I would have liked is if they added a glove to protect my fingers because the hair does get hot but other than that it is a good product.

I wanted to return the product because it was not a Golden hot product. I kept it because i needed a pressing comb and it was one of the few that stated it had a top temp of 500. However most black women don't need a guard. The guard upon the first use seems to be warping at the 500 heat and the iron wont stay hot. Remember we are using oil and heat. The price is 39.00 for a comb that loses heat after two passes and will not straighten black course hair. I don't have time to wait 5 minutes between passes for the comb to heat up enough to press another section of hair. I don't know what to do the product has been used but it does not act nor perform as advertised. Did anyone even test this on black hair before you marketed your product. stop saying this will press black hair.. it DOES NOT!

This electric "Hot Comb", is great! I am an African American with tight, course, curly hair. I had been wearing my natural curl, but decided to change it up and go straight, without a chemical straighteners. It did the trick with no issues!
