Review: Where had these been all my life? - As a painter who favoured oil for over 20 years (and hated acrylics), I was very surprised to find myself in love with this line of soft acrylic paint by Golden. They are so highly pigmented, that it is a pleasure to mix. The consistency is just right if you do not want texture or brushstrokes, just even color. You can achieve good coverage with just one layer. I haven't tried the heavy body yet, or the open acrylics, but I can see why people fall in love with Golden.

Lovely quality paint, and a very different experience to using tubes, although each has their uses. The mixing set is a really good way of trying out fluid acrylics if you haven't used them before.
