Wish I had found this long ago. I am very petite at 4’11”” so almost everything I purchase must be altered whether it is dress/pants to sleeves. I used to do all my own alterations but I have severe arthritis now and cant. I bought a dress for a wedding and of course it’s about 5 inches too long. I live very rural and finding someone to do alterations is hard plus expenses would be awful. I just happen to see this tape on Amazon and thought I’d try it. Im so glad I did. I got two large rolls one wider than the other. Directions were simple and easy. I jumped right in. I trimmed the excess and then applied the tape as directed. OMG. It worked perfectly. Nice tight hold. No wrinkles no puckering. It worked as advertised. I’m buying more and sending to my daughter and granddaughters. They really need it. I hemmed a pair of pants with it. I forgot about the tape when I went to do laundry and pitched them in with the rest of the load. They were washed and put through the dry cycle. When folding laundry I remember the tape hemmed pants. I checked and I was very surprised and happy. The hem and tape were intact. I don’t know how many washes they will hold up to but for now I couldn’t ask for a better solution to alterations. I can hem or alter for the rest of my life with just the two rolls I got. At $7.99 you can’t go wrong. Not only cost effective but the hours and hours one would spend if doing one’s own alterations or on the cost of paying a seamstress. You couldn’t pay them $7.99 to hem a couple inches on a sleeve. What a bargain. I highly recommend this wonderful product. You get exactly what is advertised and for me much more. Give it a try. You will be happy you did.

This is such a great deal, good quality double sided tape that will work perfectly for inserting zippers and more.

I'm on the fence. On the one hand it's VERY sticky. On the other hand it's not sticky enough to use alone, especially for hemming pants / jeans etc. Basically, if you want to place or something permanently that you intend to wash that isn't flimsy material this tape will function as a good temporary material to hold your fabric in place. On yet another hand it's hard to manage because it's too sticky to make adjustments. So, too sticky yet not sticky enough. Idk. I used it to hem a pair of pants but I sewed the hecc out of that hem too. I wouldn't rely on it alone but also be verrrddy careful and make sure you've stuck it eggsactly where you want it bc you will NOT be able to take it off and I can't guarantee washing it will remove it

I’m on my second reorder. I’ve found so many ways to use this and have more ideas to come. I’ve used drapery tape for my drapes, lampshades, and luggage racks. It is super easy to apply. It holds very well. It is flexible if you need to adjust your placement. And the price is great. I highly recommend it if you’d like to elevate your decor without sewing!
