I’ve always had small rain gauges that sat on the ground and got tired of people kicking them over, breaking the glass tube, and have to get down and squint to see how much rain we had. This rain gauge is the best! As advertised, the markings and numbers are large and easy to read from a distance. I put it in a large flower pot by the pool and from my kitchen window, can easily see the amount of rain. It is perfect!

I love it! I am glad the rain collector is glass so I can keep it clean and it will not yellow with age. The height of the holder is perfect giving you options on its height. I’m using it at the tallest height so I can easily see the number of inches of rainwater was collected.

This is an easy to read rain gauge and the advertisements indicated that it was freeze proof. It is summer here now, so we will wait to see if it is indeed freeze proof. That has been the problem with other rain gauges that we have had in the past.

It's a nicely built rain gauge, easy to assemble and "install". Everyone says that it's easy to read, and it's true that the numbers are large enough to be seen from where we view it, about 15 feet away. BUT we can't see the level of the rain within the tube. We haven't had a heavy rain event yet, but smaller amounts are undetectable on the gauge...maybe when we get an inch or more, it might be visible. I'll probably construct a small disc float the sits on top of the rainwater. This one addition would've made this product PERFECT.

Very sturdy and simple to set up. The graphics are large and so easy to read and the in ground support is tall enough to make it easy to get at.

It came and was nicely packaged. We put it out but so far no rain (which is ok after the wet spring we had) Nice product though!
