Very easy to read even from a distance
This is a beautiful and very functional rain gauge. I love it. I can look out my front door and see how much itโs actually rained instead of going out! The red disc floats on top of the water so you can easily see what the amount of rain is highly recommend this๐

Busted
A previously ordered this the same item and it was guaranteed not to freeze or burst, and it did. It burst in the snow/ice storm. Other than that, it was fine. I did not see where you could just order the gauge itself. I had to order the whole frame and everything.

Easy to read, easy to install
I like the nice large numbers, easy to read. We installed it on our deck railing but it can also be installed on a lawn or in a garden using the stand supplied with the rain gauge.

Accurate!
This is very accurate!! I purchased one very similar previously, but the bottom did freeze and crack. Iโm hoping this one does not. Other than that, I am very pleased with the base/structure. Itโs very easy to pour out and clean.

Freeze proof?
Nope it ain't freeze proof. I was hoping this would be as it has quite a wide opening that you would assume would allow for expansion. Now, It doesn't leak but it did crack from freezing. I assume it will start leaking at some point but hasn't yet. 4 stars for 2 years and doesn't leak but has some serious cracks from freezing

Big, easy to see. Solid construction
It is quite a big unit, but it holds a lot of rain and is very easy to see when it has rained from a distance away!

Not suitable
This was the wrong product not suitable for Australia, it read inches instead of millilitres. Tried to return it but was too difficult to understand the instructions due to accent so am stuck with it

Rain gauge with Large numbers.
This is a nice rain gauge. I like that the numbers are big and it has a blue strip behind so you can see it better. The shape is nice as well.
