Great end to the series
I won't recap the plot like so many other reviews have done. I enjoyed reading the series, and this book was no exception. The cast of characters in this final book is unusual, and they are all working toward different goals, you know grandma is planning on fixing Simon up with Louisa, but Simon is convinced that he will never be able to be normal enough to be anything more than a recluse. Georgie has had a bad experience in London and it has made her feel like she can't do anything right and she's better off not expecting to be more than Simon's assistant and her grandmother's companion. It doesn't help that their mother has made both of them feel less than acceptable. Enter Louisa who once lived the London life until her father lost all their money and killed himself, leaving his wife and daughters penny less. To help the family survive Louisa has chosen to become a companion to the dowager Lady Wade, who doesn't really need a companion. With all her extra time on her hands Louisa decides to get Georgie ready for a successful London season, and show the Viscount that his life as a member of society and as a man are not over.I think the book had well developed characters, a plot that moved along well, and a Happily Ever After so what more could you want??

The Viscount in Her Bedroom
Louisa Shelby once lived a carefree life going to balls and wearing beautiful clothing. When her father died and left her family penniless she had to find a way to support herself. When she is offered a job as a companion to an elderly Viscountess, Louisa gladly accepts. She does not count on the temptation that she finds at her new post.Simon Wade was once the most eligible bachelor, but a riding accident left him blind and now he spends his time in his grandmother's home. When Louisa starts showing an interest in him he spurns the attention figuring it is just pity. Is the beautiful ex-socialite really interested in helping or is the gossip about her true? How can Simon keep her reputation from staining his frumpy younger sister? The Viscount in Her Bedroom is a delightful read. I love a pouty Hero that needs to get over himself, and he does get over it with a healthy kick upside the head by the lovely heroine. Louisa is a good all around character that can come up with a well thought out solution to life's problems without feeling contrived or impulsive. I definitely recommend this book to those that like to see the Heroine rescue the Hero now and then.ToriReviewed for Joyfully Reviewed

The Viscount
This book was a disappointment, as I had read and enjoyed Callen's other books' i.e. "The Lord Next Door". The title and cover may lead one to believe this is about a hot affair with a sexy lord, when in fact the Viscount in the title goes to the heroine's room periodically to have a friendly platonic chat. He enjoys talking with someone he feels treats him more naturally than the rest of society, who behave foolishly around him since he has become blind. While the hero and heroine are interesting, the relationship between them isn't. The idea that a 19th century man would hang out in the bedroom of an unmarried female guest is unbelievable enough, but that he would do so with platonic intentions is ludicrous. Presumably because he is blind he doesn't see anything he shouldn't, and so doesn't make a move on her. Huh? Eventually (a loong eventually) nature takes it's course. The viscount then nobly (and unbelievably) decides that it is more honorable to pretend not to care or inflict a blind man on her, than it is to offer to marry her - in spite of her loss of virginity and marriagability and the risk of pregnancy. Double huh!? She doesn't seem to hold it against him, and the two are sadly friendly for most of the book. I admit I lost patience with this, and the ending was rather bland as well. Great potential, but wasted.

triology ends
The third book was not my favorite in tne triology, but it held its own and was great as a solo title. The main characters start off on two different sides without both of them knowing it. The story grew on me as I got to know what drove each character. The Grandmother was quitelikeable and you knew she had many schemes up her sleve just waiting for the righ t moment to expose them. The sister was a giel who just needed someone to believe in her, not a family memeber. The motheer had a small part, but one that made a mark on both brother and sister. The heroine just wanted to find a purpose in her life and to quit feeling like she failed her dad. The hero just needed to remeber to live, not just exist.

Found another favourite author
I love heroes who have some kind of physical problem, not just the mental that they are men. I loved the heroine who is a charming open person, too nice to realize that some people are taking advantage of it. And I like her fighting spirit. I already ordered other books from Ms Callen, definitely an author who will stay on my wish list!

Great read
Admittedly I like this author, but thus far I think this is one of her best books and best series. I’m sad it’s the last of the series, but looking forward to more of her novels. We met Simon in previous novels so we can understand the sudden change from the life he had before and the one he has after his accident. It makes the characters more appreciable and adds to their depth.

ok not a favorite of mine
Although I did like the plot/ storyline the actual writing style bothered me. I found it simplistic and choppy. The other 2 willow pond stories were the same but more so with this book. I give the other 2 in the series 4s. This was like a good draft that wants finishing... not on the plot but the actual writing style that needs to flow better.

Delightful story
Enjoyed all the characters. The plot was well written and the characters well rounded. Will most likely read this again in the future.
