Vaunn Medical Adjustable Bathtub Safety Rail Shower Grab Bar Handle: Ivory

Description

The Vaunn adjustable safety bar is designed to prevent injuries and falls common in the bathroom for those with substantial limitation to their mobility. Specifically, it is designed for handicapped individuals that require support when transferring between a bathtub and a walker or wheelchair. This safety tub rail offers a 14” handle on one side of the tub to allow easy and unrestricted access in and out of the tub. Constructed of a heavy-duty, one-piece steel frame, this ultra-durable tub rail provides a firm, non-shaky grip during use and ensures maximum safety for individuals up to 300 lbs. The width adjustable clamp, with its uniquely designed locking mechanism, allows the rail to be firmly attached to any tub wall (3”-7” thick). This product is easily installed with no tools required and will not cause any unsightly marks or dents on the tub surface. Its smooth-white, powder-coated stainless steel design creates a modern look that will blend perfectly with any bathroom décor. Conveniently ambidextrous, this product works for both right and left-handed users. It is lightweight (<6 lbs.) and can be used in other bathtubs around the house. Note: Not intended for use on fiberglass surface. Product Dimension: 8” (L) x 6” (W) x 17” Product Weight: 6lbs. Review: Bath side handle - Sturdy well built handle that attaches to the bath easy and without damage For the elderly it’s great Review: Durable and easy to use - This safety rail was much heavier and more sturdy than I expected. It is made with heavy metal, but installed very easily. I put it on the tub easily and it tightened up easily. I have used it for a week, it doesn't slip, it makes it much easier to get into and out of the bathtub. I would be a little concerned if a child was taking a bath in the tub, because the parts inside the tub look a bit sharp, but it removes easily should that be needed. The paint looks durable, I don't think it will chip easily.
