DO NOT buy this product
I totally agree with this reviewer. I bought this for my son as a reward for good behaviour. Me and his dad tried for 2 hours to put it together but it's impossible. The only way you can slot some (not all) of the pieces together is without the ludicrous bit of rubber they insist are essential to ensure no water leakages. When you try to take the pieces apart (to create new configurations as they claim you are able to) the plastic just snaps and is unusable. I can't believe companies are allowed to bring such sub standard products to market.

awful to put together
This is probably the most frustrating toy I have ever had to try and put together. It took about 2 hours to construct and I very nearly just put it all back in the box to return. My hands were so sore after finally putting it all together. My boys quite liked it for a little while but I now have the dilemma of where to keep it as I am certainly not taking it apart again if i have to go through that again another day! If i'd have known before I would not have bought it.

Tricky
This toy is quite tricky to put together. In fact, it seemed impossible at first. However, there is a knack (not explained in the instructions) and once you have it, it's ok. Basically, you need to push each joint quite wide open to clip the connector on. Still not easy, but not impossible. Once together, it's very robust and doesn't leak at all. You're going to want lots of space to store this as you can't take it appart again. It is surprisingly educational and well thought out, but the lack of instructions let's it down a bit. It took me a while to work out that cranking the handles can make the water flow and the boats move. Ideal for a sunny day in the garden.

This is not easy to assemble
Awful, awful, awful avoid at all costs you cannot even put this toy together let alone have fun with it. Bought this 2 months ago, at last the weather is good - what a disappointment the toy will not fit together, now I cannot find the receipt and paid full price. Words cannot describe how annoyed I am!
