Took a few workouts to get used to, but now I love them
I have always worn cross training sneakers for weightlifting, but I haven been lifting at home (rather than at a gym) for the past three or so years. Where I have my home bench, rack, weights, etc., is carpeted. It was coming up on time for new shoes, but I haven't been able to find anything I liked. I have very flat, wide feet and I have one particular shoe brand that I stick with. But they haven't had any great shoes and a good price point over the last year. During a search around Black Friday, I randomly came across these shoes on Amazon and, based on the reviews and pricing, decided to give them a try. For gym shoes, I typically wear an 11 or 11.5 wide (2E). I measured using the info provided and ordered the size "11.5-12". After first trying them on I knew I wanted to keep them. My first workout with them was chest/tri (so not deadlifts). I think I made them too tight because after a few minutes of lifting it started to hurt where my arch should be (I literally have no arch in my foot). I loosened up the hook/loop straps and they were good to go. Then I started feeling like maybe they were too tight and my big toe kept hitting a weird spot. I wore them for a second workout, bicep/shoulder (so again not deadlifts), and they were more comfortable, but I was still thinking I might need a bigger size. I also realize I had been trying to push my heel all the way back in them instead of just wearing them naturally, but that was part of the process of getting used to this kind of shoe. By my third workout, legs and back, I had the hook/loop straps figured out and I was just wearing them naturally. My big toe wasn't hitting a weird spot anymore and I think the shoes loosened up a bit. Had a great leg workout, especially calves. I see why these are marketed as deadlifting shoes because I felt like I had a lot more feeling and control over all of my leg exercises (squats, deadlifts, calf raises). I also felt less pressure on my left knee which had previously been swelling after workouts. After that third workout I knew these shoes were good to go. They are definitely different than a cross trainer, and honestly I don't know if I would want them if I were still going to an actual gym. They really are like wearing just a shell of a shoe, so I would worry about hitting my toes on weights or equipment. I also don't like having to switch shoes or swap equipment during a workout, but some people love that. For my home use on carpeted floor with fairly decent weight (300+ bench and squat sets, 400+ deadlift sets) these are perfect. I don't plan on going back to cross trainers. Highly recommended if you know you want this type of shoe or even if you just want to check them out and see if it's worth it. Just note that it takes a few workouts to get used to them and break them in. I'm about three weeks into using them and I'm very happy I went with this shoe in the size I selected.

Game Changer for Leg Day and My Knees
I originally bought these after they were recommended to me, and they've become a permanent part of every leg day workout. The flat, stable sole gives me a much better connection to the floor during squats, deadlifts, and other lower-body exercises. I feel more balanced and confident under heavier weight, and, most importantly for me, they've been much kinder to my knees than my regular training shoes. They're comfortable, fit well, and have held up great through many workouts. If you're serious about lifting and want a stable shoe that helps you focus on your form, I highly recommend these. They've earned a permanent spot in my gym bag. 💪

Highly recommend!
If you're serious about your weight lifting and good body mechanics, you need to give these a serious look. I've been using these for a while now and I will never go back to my regular shoes. I love that these shoes are simple, easy to wear, and fit well to my feet. Normally for deadlifts, RDLs, and hacksquats, I like to take my shoes off, but my socks are slippery. These shoes are just like wearing socks but have that grip I need to feel secure during my lifts. Plus, now I don't have to take my shoes off and on during my workouts (minor inconvenience, but still... It's one less thing I have to do now). One other thing I noticed is it's easier for me to feel my feet against the ground- this keeps me honest with proper form. To me, wearing running shoes with the cushioning prevented me from really being able to tell whether I was pushing more against my forefoot or if it was equally balanced--- with these shoes, it's VERY easy to tell in real time whether I am pushing with my feet correctly. I guess you could say these "ground me." You can choose to wear these with socks or without. It is comfortable both ways. The shoes are breathable. Love them. Will share with others who are also getting into powerlifting and bodybuilding.

Not a squat shoe
Very good fitting shoe. Would order slightly lower than over. Would recommend looks nice and feels good to walk around in/squat/deadlift. Calling it a squat shoe is very misleading.

Best Deadlifting Shoe
Best footwear for deadlifting that I've ever tried. I like them so much that I bought myself a second pair. The sole of the shoe is shaped just perfect to allow me to exert maximum power via pushing through from my heels, which allows me to lift more weight using these shoes compared to going barefoot, or just using cheap slippers. Since I purchased my first pair 2 years ago, I've been 4 for 4 in the powerlifting tournaments I've competed in. 2 first place wins in the masters classes and 2 first place wins in the men's open. These shoes also helped me set 2 new state deadlifting records. They are very reasonably priced and function better than some of the really expensive powerlifting shoes out there. I highly recommend this product!

Worth it
They’re super comfortable. They fit a bit tight wearing regular socks, so be mindful. But other than that they’re great. Doing Deadlifts, squats, or anything involving a good solid base, these are worth it.

Better than Notorious Lift
Trust me on this one.... they are better quality or at worst the same quality as Notorious Lift for 1/3 of the price. I am a competition powerlifter who owned the original Notorious Lift from a few months of their first launch. Those fell apart within two years. These shoes are better than those (the Notorious Lifts) that launched that brand. So if the new versions of NL are better, well then they would be on pare with these shoes and these shoes are still 70% cheaper. I have deadlifted over 600 lbs... these will hold up.

Poor quality
Really don’t understand the good reviews. Really bad quality and like a beach shoe not something sturdy to do weights in. Brought but sent back.

Buen producto
Me han gustado. Parecen poco resistentes y que se pueden despegar facilmente pero han aguantado bastante bien a pesar de que les he dado buen uso en 2 meses y medio. Vamos a ver cuanto mas aguantan
