Stylish sound on a budget
The KZ EDX earbuds offer incredible sound quality and surprisingly effective noise cancelllation for the price. They fit securely and comfortably in my ears without falling out, and they also have a stylish appearance. The audio comes through with excellent clarity, making them great for everyday listening as well as monitoring audio. For only $18, it is difficult to find a better value. The detachable cable feels high quality rather than cheap, and the audio connector snaps firmly into place without feeling loose or unstable. Since the cable can be removed, the earbuds are also easy to store and transport. They are small and lightweight, but they still feel sturdy and well made. Overall, the KZ EDX earbuds provide excellent sound, comfort, build quality, and versatility for the price.

Worth your money in gold.
I love these headphones. I love how they sound. I love that you can change the EQ on the headphones, not just on the phone. They are metal; they will be a little heavy, but I don't think that's a big deal. Some people might think so. I love them, but I also think that if you're going to drop them, be prepared for scuffs, scrapes, and damage. They only come in one color. In my opinion, the earbuds that come with them are too small, and there should be a larger size included in the box—not smaller ones. And the untangled cord is okay. Is it worth its money in gold? Yes. I would say these are at least Number two. I use these for sleep or doing things around the house.

DQS is my go-to for an IEM with some of the room in it
I have been using IEM's on stage for over 18 years. I started with the Shure E2c single-driver buds. At the time (almost 20 years ago) I loved them. Then I got better IEM's with more drivers and eventually got custom-molded professional units. To say I love IEMs for monitoring might be an understatement. A few years ago, I took over a Live Band Karaoke gig and the stage had wedges. They sounded great, but even working to keep my volume reasonable, I noticed my ears were suffering. I went to IEM's for that gig, but found I was constantly pulling one ear out to talk to the karaoke singers or the band. I looked high and low for an IEM bud with an ambient feature, but they were either non-existent, or really really expensive. I found the DQS and the 'semi-open' descriptor piqued my interest. I wasn't so sure about going back to a single-driver. but. they are now my go-to for Live Band Karaoke gigs and I even got the bluetooth adapter and the DQS buds are my main every-day listening/phone call IEM. When I say I was surprised by the sound, I mean, really surprised. The bass is full, the mids are present and the highs are crisp but not overbearing. as an In-Ear-monitor, they get me what I need, and because they are semi-open, I get some wash from the PA, helping to keep an 'open' feel. I now buy these 3 at a time, so if a player lost, broke, or forgot their IEMs they get a pair of these. For all the complaints about the cords, I've had my main pair for a year and a half and besides being grimy because I sweat when I play, the cord is still in great shape. I recommend these to anyone who is in an IEM-only situation that wants to/needs to hear the room a bit. Singers, solo acts, live band karaoke, these are the buds. I still LOVE my custom-molded IEMs when the gig is a show, but I now host LBK 3+ nights a week, so I use these DQS IEMs more than anything else!

Amazing bang for your buck. Can hold its own against higher priced units
When i opened the package, i wasn't expecting much judging by the packaging, but i was pleasantly surprised. Shocked in fact! These sound better than my Floyd Rose in-ear monitors (compared them side by side). The clarity is not what i expected from this price point. crystal clear and clean highs, tight and balanced bass. There are 4 small switches on each ear piece that lets you boost or cut lows, highs, and to an extent the mid response. I chose an overall flat response which was satisfying to listen to, then i tried bass boost 1 setting, nice subtle but effective low curve boost. not overpowering. When i finally settled down for an extended listening period, they seem to disappear sonically in a way where you almost can't tell you're wearing them or where the sound is coming from. That illusion is consistent with high quality headphones and speaker systems. As sound engineers, this is what we strive for in our designs. Before you spend big bucks on custom in ear monitors, give these a try. Warning, Technical stuff: Passive and tuneable in-ear monitors, so there's obviously no active noise cancelling, but when properly fitted using one of the 3 different size silicone ear fittings, they block out much of the ambient room noise. Mind the placement in your ear. the part that goes into the ear canal is in the down most position and the stiff formed part of the wire wraps around your ear and exits around the back of your head. this ensures an non slip fit. All things considered like pricing, fit, and tuning controls, this is a lot of bang for the buck. I give this a 9 out of 10 rating

They Sound Really Good!
For $17.99, these are some awesome sounding earbuds. I use them all day at work, and for a pair of monitor earbuds, they really do sound like they're an $80 pair. They're comfortable and I get a pretty okay seal. Sometimes they slip out if I chew or talk with them in, but it's not a big deal to me. They feel solid and they keep the noise out well for not having ANC. Absolutely worth the money.

Buyer Beware of Cord
IEMs themselves sound great and feel nice in ear. (Not as heavy in bass as I would like but for the price, I think they're good starter IEMs). I absolutely love the color these came in (cyan). They look fantastic especially in natural light. However I need to address the elephant in room in that the cord they came with did not work at all. I swapped the ear pieces themselves and even tried plugging them into different devices and they did not work. Thankfully my partner had a spare cord from an older pair he had, and it worked perfectly. Have to order another cord for him that but thats besides the point. Ultimately proceed with caution. I ordered the cord without a mic, I don't know if that makes a difference or not.

Probably the best IEM under 20$(For those wanting a bit bass-heavy)
I have used IEMs for the past 5 years ranging from a variety of price points. This IEM is not the best out there, but for the price, it’s phenomenal. The build quality is excellent. Although the buds are quite heavy, it’s not uncomfortable at all. It sits perfectly on the ear. The ear tips might have been a bit better but still, it’s not bad. The cable is the same, not entirely bad, but other vendors have more high quality cables. Would have been nice to have a pouch but I’m nit gonna ding it for that for the price it’s asking The biggest thing for me was the sound clarity with the increased bass.I wanted something a bit bass heavy than something more balanced while maintaing a clean soundstage. This hits the right spot definitely. The bass is punchy and tight, whilst not making the mids and highs muddy. The mids are a bit recessed but that is expected. The highs are clear and not piercing which some IEM tend to do. The stock switch configuration ( there are 4 switches for increasing the sound level) isn’t bad, but making the first three on does make the sound more enjoyable to my preference as I listen to hip-hop, R&B and EDM more than other genres. I would definitely give the sound a 10/10 compared to others like the Waner, Salnotes and Zero 2. They are also good, but the sound is rather balanced and lacking in the bass department compared to the Castor. P.S. Sound Quality and Preference is entirely subjective. What might be good for me might sound the worst for you. If you prefer a good entry point IEM which tends to be a bit bass heavy, I would highly recommend the Castor. It does compete with other earbuds in much higher price points. Apart from the eartips and the cable being a bit cheap, it is overall one of the best IEMs under 20$!

Great product
Great sound in loud environments.

Better than what i had.
I think it just might last longer than my other earphones. The wires are stronger and the sound quality is very nice. I like how they hook over the ear, and how the earphone is the shape of the inside ear.

Zuiver geluid
Heel zuiver geluid, bij lage impedantie - geen extra versterker nodig. Bas wordt niet overdreven, dus goed in oor passen is belangrijk. De draad gaat "over ear", waardoor de oortjes goed blijven zitten

Muy buenos
¡Me encantan!
