Cutest stories!
My kiddos love these stories. I’ve read through this book maybe 10 times throughout my homeschool career. I just finally decided to get the hard copy. I have the E-book and it was getting is by. There’s nothing like a hard copy.

Once you become accustom to the short (occasionally unfulfilling blurbs) of stories, it grows more and more to become an enjoyable book. I believe it boils down to a preference of having a timeline and through explanations. If you are looking for a way to wet your palate, this is it.

Excellent quality! I'm using this book as part of ...
Note: I always forget that Amazon lumps all the reviews of the same book together, no matter the edition. My review is specifically regarding the Living Book Press edition. Excellent quality! I'm using this book as part of my homeschool year. So many reprinted public domain books use OCR and are full of errors; this one was obviously put together with care and attention to detail. As an Ambleside Online user, I appreciate that the editor rearranged the stories in the order they are used throughout the school year.

Small print, and note that it's not YC
This book is absolutely fantastic. Highly recommend for the content. However, this edition is just okay. The print is small. It looks almost exactly like a Yesterday's Classics edition by the cover but it is not and definitely lower quality.

Great Read-Aloud Stories!
I bought this to read to my still-unborn grandchild, but tried out a couple of stories on my 9 and 11 year old grandsons. They loved them. The 9 year old even woke up the next morning and told me how much he enjoyed having those stories read to them. They are short enough that I was able to let each choose a story and then read them one I chose. I highly recommend this book to anyone who likes to read to children.

SUCH a great book!
Wow, we love this book! It's short chapters that are easy for the kids to follow but SO well written. The kids and us parents love this book and the amazing stories we learn from it!

Bad reprint
Front cover is blurry, throughout the text it references illustrations that are not there, it simply says {illustration}. It is also poorly formatted
