Excellent palette - perfect for custom choices
Great quality, great size, I wanted the largest as I have many half pans I've poured from tubes and I've had to put them in several little tins as I didn't have anything big enough. I just wanted one or two main tins to take away with me on holidays so I don't have to bring several. Came in its own box, nice and secure. There were two marks on mine, like hard enamel or something, took some scratching off, but they don't interfere with my paints so I'm not bothered. I love the large mixing area, I make do with the smaller tins but this is a welcome change. Pans are easy to fit in, you can bend back the metal holdings inside with ease, and nothing rattles around too much. Does its job. I can even get some handmade bought pans in the center, some pans are a tad smaller than the average half pan, so I could technically get more than 52 pans. Well worth it for traveling artists, or those of you who have loads of half pans spread out in many little tins. It's nice to keep them all in one.

Great Palette
Really well made little palette, plenty of half pans. Great choice for artists building their own palette.

Good but not perfect. Fits Windsor & Newton pans
I am pleased with this. My Windsor & Newton palette was a PAIN to open and I really did not like it. (I see others have the same problem with it). This palette is so much better for me. The W&N pans DO fit. Mine have not fallen out. Yes, they are slightly smaller than the ones that come with this, but they do fit. I took one of the panels by taking out the pin. However, when I did this, the palette wobbled and wouldnโt close, so I guess it is integral for the stability of the palette. Pros: Takes W&N pans. Plenty of spare pans. Tons of space in a small palette than the W&N one. Nice to hold. Metal and not plastic. Cons: Reminds me of the toys I was unlucky enough to receive as a child in the sixties labelled, โmade in Hong Kong.โ Not brilliantly made, it wobbles and flexes and needs careful handling. A bit fiddly to get the pans in and out. All in all, I think itโs perfectly good for the price. I will get another one as my paint stash expands.

Good colourful tin
Came filled with EMPTY half pans, which was handy. Palette closes tight and doesn't pop open which is a bonus, as some cheaper ones tend to do. These palettes also have plenty mixing spaces. Meeden certainly do quality items.

Great value.
Great value for money. Large size palette. I can for 13 half pans per row. Compatible with any brandโs half pans. Sturdy tin, very neat and a pretty design.

Great pallet
This is a very sturdy metal pallet with lots of space to mix colours. The pans are a little bigger that my W&N pans but you get a pack that fit better. I am still using the pans I had though as you can adjust the tension easily, they just rattle a bit but they do stay in the track so no big deal to me. Plenty of room for a brush or 3 too, I only use 3 of the tracks for my paints so I use the other track for a couple of water brushes. Compact, lightweight, sturdy and easy to use. I have had it a little while now and I expect it to last quite a long time.

Functional paint box - metal a bit flimsy and palettes bend on the hinges , but ok for light use.
A handy sized paint tin for half and full pans , ready for tube or solid pigments. The metal thickness is a little under size and makes the case feel a little flimsy but this does not affect its functionality in the short term at least. It is not match the quality of the Winsor and Newton cases of old if that's what you're looking for. For the price point it's reasonable value. The fit of the inner pan holder is loose in the case and rattles about - this can be fixed with some strips of foam or sponge and stops the pans moving around when brushing the pigment.

Almost a good pallet but flawed
I bought this watercolour palette so that I could transfer the 26 half pans from my Winsor and Newton set and have some spare pans for more paint. The Winsor and Newton half pans do fit, but are slightly less deep than the included pans, but that is ok. However, there are two design faults that spoil this pallet. Firstly, the central tray that holds the pans is smaller than the tin, so the tray wobbles from side to side. Secondly, the studs on the underside of the central tray are misplaced. The inner four studs sit on a raised portion of the base and the outer four studs sit on the bottom of the base. So the tray is unstable. When trying to lift paint from the outer pans, the tray lifts up. Together these two issues make it more difficult to use the pallet. Itโs a shame because this could be corrected with a slight design change and more attention to quality control. As a result, Iโm not sure if I really want to keep this or find a better design.

Lovely Watercolor Palette at a Great Price
This palette, not only does it offer quality at a reasonable price, but it's also incredibly charming. I opted for the pink one, and it's just adorable. The palette itself is well-constructed and feels durable. It can easily hold 24 half pans, providing ample space for a variety of watercolors. The half pans fit snugly and securely, making it a breeze to organize and access your colors. One standout feature of this palette is the spacious mixing area. There's plenty of room for blending and creating new colors, which is a crucial element for watercolor artists. It's a thoughtful addition that enhances the overall functionality of the palette. I was so thrilled with this palette that I even created an unboxing video on YouTube to showcase its features. If you're interested, you can watch it here: YouTube Unboxing Video. In summary, the "MEEDEN Empty Watercolor Tin Box Palette" exceeded my expectations. It combines quality, charm, affordability, and a spacious mixing area in one delightful package. If you're in the market for a watercolor palette, I highly recommend giving this one a try. It's a gem for both beginners and experienced artists.

Great product for diy pan sets
perfect fit for building your own portable tin pan sets. Don't forget to write pigment name on sides and pigment number on bottom. How to fill pan perfectly without looking like it shrunk or cracked in tin box pans Fill corners first in start corner continue to each and finally fill middle. Let it settle and slight dry(some do not fully try and will be like hard taffy). You're all set

Compact, sturdy, exactly what I was looking for!
I'm so happy with this product. It is better than I hoped. The size is fairly small, but perfect for my needs. It holds all my basic colors easily with room to spare. The little paint cups are fine for mixing most paints and pigments. I just wish I'd found these years ago.
