Maximuscle Promax Lean High Protein Bar, Cookies and Cream, 55 g, Pack of 12

They aren't the best tasting or the worst tasting protein bars I've ever had but they are a good price, good macros and fairly tasty. They are chewy but nothing to the extent of a quest bar or similar. They also taste really yummy if you take them out of the wrapper and microwave them for 10s or so. For reference, from a taste point of view barebells hazelnut nougat is my favorite bar- I rate it as a candy bar let alone a protein bar, and these aren't as good but they are also half the price, a bit less calories and quite tasty in their own right. The chocolate coating is nice as well. Looking forward to trying other flavors when they go on offer.

All the Maximuscle bar flavours I've tried are OK, but this is my favourite post-gym 20g protein hit. It's isn't excessively sweet and has a bit of substance so it takes a bit of chewing. It's very reasonable at 184 calories for the app counters and is best combined with a protein shake and plenty of water. I'm just about to order 2 more packs at the discounted price as I prefer them to Grenade bars.

I absolutely love these bars. The macros are incredible and make for a great snack. They're filling, taste good and have a nice little protein bump! I've since bought another 6 boxes of these. Personally, I find the cookies and cream / rocky road probably the worst flavour. Peanut is incredible, as is Salted Caramel & Banoffee, and the mint is pretty much your standard protein bar! :-)

These taste great. I've tried MaxiMuscle Promax bars in the past and they were, not exactly something I'd want to put in my mouth again. It was like a mixture of cardboard and power mixed in to a think paste. So I was a little apprehensive trying these but I wanted something that was convenient. So glad I gave these a go. I love the taste and its dead handy having some of these stashed away in the office or my bag. Cookies and Cream and Salted Caramel are the two for me, they really do taste great. I will say they don't cope in the heat but then neither does a Dairy Milk!

Don't get me wrong, they are kinda nice. But cookies and cream flavour doesn't really taste like cookies and cream at all. Tastes more like very chewy fudge? Overall I think the price is fair, and it does the job for when you need a low sugar or protein treat.

I love these protein bars. I don’t make a habit of using them now, but when I do, these taste the nicest to me. They don’t have the gritty texture that a lot of them have, and there’s a decent amount of protein and low impact carbs. Handy in a jam, when I don’t have time for a proper meal after the gym.

I honestly can't believe how great these things taste. It's just a chocolate bar – great texture and chewiness too. In fact, if these were a chocolate bar, I would choose them over a Mars or a Twix any day. Amazing – found my new favourite thing!

There are protein bars and their nutritional content is respecting that, but the texture and taste is not what I had expected. Very chewy, well too much caramel! This is what put me off it s the caramel and it amount. Not a fan of this product. I won t order it again.
