Works beautifully
The spool is small (hard to tell initially) but there was plenty enough for my purposes. I've been plaiting single-color cordage for a friend to use with his carvings, but we decided to add in some color. The color of the cord was beautiful, really deep red. When I'm ready to try some other colors, I will definitely re-order.

Red is brighter than in picture and I was counting on it. Country red is like your basic Christmas red. I only use this type/brand of thread for bookbinding. It is the best.
