Good buy
Works great, clip is strong and the skewer functions as intended. Easily works as a belt stringer for spearos or just a heavy duty stringer for the guy who fishes from his canoe. A little short for a shoreline stringer but could be adapted with a length of cord. No fish have yet to fall off in my use

Great quality
Easy to attach to my dive float & it seems to be all good quality elements.

High Quality Stringer for a good price.
High Quality Stringer for a good price. I admit I am not yet a fisherman, but my buddy is and he is teaching me. He used to fish in “bass tournaments” (whatever that means) so he claims he knows what he is talking about and he owns a big motorboat and a little motorboat. Anyway I showed him this stringer that I am adding to my tackle box. He said it was a really nice stringer for use when fishing from his small motorboat or from a canoe. He has some kind of apparatus that he that he is going to set up for me that he adds to the stringer to conceal the sharp tip of the spike until you need it and still keep “all” the fish on the stringer. He said that I got a high quality stringer at a good price. I am only going to go fishing with a knowledgeable fisherman.

Works but underwhelming
The spike is a little smaller than I expected and the clamp is ridiculously tight to operate.

Fishies Don't get away
If you're looking at this to go SpearFishing and catch fish with, then go look somewhere else. This item is to HOLD/tether the fish that you've already speared safely. You poke the sharp end through the fish and because it will lay flat against the fish after you're penetrated them, the fish can't slip off your line. It should function fine for it's purpose but I do worry about the fish wiggling around and the sharp end of the spear stabbing you at some point. It's all possible
