I decided to buy it and try something new, but I didn't have high hopes for black bean flavored noodles. It didn't sound particularly exciting. When I tried it I was pleasantly surprised. It's full of flavor, and absolutely delicious. The noodles have great texture if you follow the 5 minutes of boiling instructions; not too soft or firm; nice and full bodies compared to a ramen noodle.I suspect that you could microwave them for 2-2.5 minutes, let them sit for 5 min, then strain them, but I haven't tried it.
