Can you use metallic pens? Do they show?

Yes! I have been using metallic pens of all colours in this book, gold is a little hard to see on the brown pages but stands out more if you go over it more than once. Hope this helps.

Just bought this but concerned that the ring is small. Can you still open and close the album easily once full of photos, cards, drawings...?

It depends how many photos you put in it

How do you attach your photos etc to the pages

I used pva glue a little bit on each photo and then put weights on it so it flattened and stuck.
