Good quality WQHD resolution monitor for gaming or general PC use
I bought this monitor to replace one that got damaged by accident. This monitor has everything I was looking for, and I was surprised with the easy height and tilt adjust (vertically and sideways). There is a bit of assembly required, but it it rather quick and easy - there are three main assemblies - the weighty base, the vertical adjustable stem and the monitor itself. The vertical stem easily screws into the heavy metal base (the screw even has a thumb grip), then that assembly easily mounts to the back of the monitor with a simple but sturdy spring loaded latch. Then connect the monitor to your PC - I highly recommend to use the display port (DP) connection if your graphics card supports it (most have more than one). There is only one DP connection on the monitor, but two HDMI - I wish it was the other way around since I have two PCs I wanted to connect to this monitor. They do supply an HDMI and DP cable - nice touch. There is a set of switches on the lower rear right side - you can feel your way around without having to look there as the joystick knob is distinctly shaped. You can use the joystick to change all of the settings except power. In use, you don't have to touch the power button as the monitor turns off/on automatically when a signal is detected on the video ports. The height is easily adjustable with a light push up or down. Horizontally the monitor can swivel a bit too with a vertical tilt adjustment as well. I really liked the ease with which this monitor is adjustable. The base has a fair amount of weight to it so it won't easily tilt and fall off the table as my previous monitor did - that's a big plus for me.The display is bright, crisp, flicker free and very clear with resolution of WQHD 2560x1440 - which is just right - 4K would be too much but this is perfect being right between FHD and 4K. My operating systems - both Windows and Linux Mint were able to automatically detect and set the WQHD resolution, but do check the refresh rate - it will default to 60 Hz - this monitor is capable of 180 Hz on DP, but "only" 144 Hz on HDMI which is one reason I recommended using the DP connection. You can set/check the refresh rates and resolution from the "display settings" of Windows or Linux. The only disappointment is the built in speaker audio quality which sounds muffled and tinny - definitely use external speakers or headphones either connected to the PC or to the audio out jack on the bottom of the monitor. This was a minor criteria for me since I use headphones anyway.

Excellent Monitor for the Price
I’ve had this monitor for over a year now, and it’s been a fantastic value. The 1440p resolution looks sharp, the colors are vibrant, and everything from gaming to everyday productivity looks great. It’s been reliable with no issues, and the build quality has held up very well over time. For the price, it’s hard to beat the combination of performance, picture quality, and long-term reliability. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a quality gaming monitor without overspending.

Nice monitor
I think 27” is the perfect size for a monitor. I don’t use the stand but it looked pretty nice. The controls are easy to figure out without having to look at them. Colors are nice as well and can be changed, blacks aren’t crazy like newer monitors so even the darkest games can get I can still kind of see unlike others who might have oled screens or whatever. Has become my main monitor and works pretty well.

Really good monitor for the price (except for 1 tiny little downside)
This was a monitor for my daughter's desk setup. We mounted it on a monitor arm and it was great! First off, the colors on this monitor are amazing. They are really accurate and look identical to the one on the Macbook Air that we have. The 27 inch screen is also amazing and perfectly in the middle (between 24 and 32) As Goldilocks said, 'Just right!' I also love that it came included with all teh cables necassary. A lot of monitors these days dont come with an HDMI or Displayport Cable and only the power adapter, so it was really refreshing when we saw that everything necassary was there. The 1440p resolution and the frame rate has been really nice. When you play games, it looks really crisp and clear. The brightness settings are also really adjustable, so you don't need to worry about the monitor being too bright or too dark.As great as this monitor has been, the one thing that could be better are the built-in speakers. Now, I know that it is nice to even have a monitro with speakers but it really could improve. Of course, if you use a headset it'll be alright. When I first turned on the sound to take a listen, I was actually pretty surprised haha. It sounded kind of washed out, if that is possible. After using this monitor for a long period of time, though, you kind of get used to the speakers and they sound normal. If sound is a big deciding factor for you, then this monitor might not be it.Overall, this monitor is a amazing and if I could rate is 4.5 stars I definitely would. Highly recommend!

Incredible 180Hz Gaming Monitor with Stunning WQHD Resolution and HDR
I recently upgraded to the Acer Nitro 27" WQHD 2560 x 1440 monitor, and I’m thoroughly impressed with its performance. Whether for gaming or general use, this monitor offers a fantastic experience at a great price.Pros:Superb WQHD Resolution: The 2560 x 1440 resolution on the 27-inch screen provides sharp, detailed images that are perfect for both gaming and productivity. The clarity is excellent, and the visuals are significantly better than standard 1080p monitors.Ultra-Smooth 180Hz Refresh Rate: The 180Hz refresh rate is a game-changer for fast-paced gaming. It makes a huge difference in smoothness, and there’s no noticeable screen tearing or stuttering, even in action-packed titles.HDR Support: I was pleasantly surprised by the HDR support on this monitor. The colors are more vibrant, and the contrast in games and videos is more dynamic. It really enhances the experience, especially for games that support HDR.AMD FreeSync Premium: With FreeSync support, the monitor syncs beautifully with my AMD graphics card. It completely eliminates screen tearing, creating a buttery-smooth gameplay experience.Solid Build and Design: The build quality is sturdy, and the monitor has a sleek, modern look. The thin bezels are perfect for multi-monitor setups, and the stand is stable and functional.Cons:Limited Ergonomics: While the tilt is adjustable, it doesn’t offer height or swivel adjustments, which could be a drawback for users who need more ergonomic flexibility for long gaming or work sessions.Brightness Could Be Higher for HDR: While the HDR works well, the peak brightness isn't as high as some premium HDR displays. It's still great for most content but not as impressive as higher-end HDR monitors.Overall: The Acer Nitro 27" WQHD 2560 x 1440 monitor is an outstanding choice for anyone looking for a smooth, high-performance monitor. The 180Hz refresh rate, vibrant HDR, and sharp resolution make it perfect for gamers and those who want a quality display for media consumption. While it lacks some ergonomic features, the price-to-performance ratio is excellent. Highly recommend!

Excellent Display and Performance
Excellent Display and Performance – Highly Recommended!I recently purchased the 27-inch Acer monitor, and I am thoroughly impressed with its performance! The large screen size is perfect for both work and entertainment, offering an expansive display without feeling overwhelming. The 2560x1440 resolution delivers crisp, vibrant visuals that are perfect for everything from gaming to watching movies and editing photos. The colors are rich and accurate, and the sharpness is exceptional at this size. The refresh rate is fantastic, providing a smooth experience whether I'm gaming or multitasking. The 180Hz refresh rate feels fluid, and there's no noticeable lag or motion blur. Plus, the IPS panel ensures excellent viewing angles, so the image looks great no matter where you're sitting.Set-up was a breeze, with the monitor's slim profile and sleek design adding a modern touch to my desk. The stand is sturdy, and the adjustable height, tilt, and swivel options make it easy to find the perfect viewing angle. For those who spend long hours in front of a screen, the Acer monitor also features blue light filtering technology, which has significantly reduced eye strain during extended sessions.Overall, the 27-inch Acer monitor offers incredible value for its price. Outstanding Value at $199
I've noticed a distinct lack of good technical reviews for this specific model, so I'm gonna go into a bit of detail here. If you want the tl;dr: If you see it on sale, buy with confidence.Color Reproduction/Panel Quality:Color volume is outstanding - not just for the sale price, but in general. Color accuracy is very good to my naked eye after setting picture mode to normal from the default of warm, requiring no calibration whatsoever. Contrast performance seems good for an IPS panel. There is some backlight bleed in the lower left corner, but it's invisible against any color other than deep black.Freesync functions well with zero flicker but clamps the overdrive setting at Normal, so most users aren't going to be seeing the advertised response time. Still, input lag is imperceptible and I have thus far been unable to detect any ghosting or overshoot. The advertised brightness of 250 nits appears to be correct. I'm in a moderately lit room and find any setting over 84 a bit uncomfortable with this panel, but I could see it failing to measure up in a room with lots of natural light.Ergonomics:The stand is of decent quality and wobble is kept to a minimum, though you probably will notice some if your typing surface isn't perfectly stable. All movement options are accounted for, though it needs to be said that the panel can't be lifted very high. Very tall users may wish to invest in a fashionable box to set this thing on.HDR Performance:Very good for this price point with surprisingly high color volume and decent handling of contrast for an IPS panel, but SDR color volume is so good that the HDR mode ends up looking inferior by comparison. As ever, outstanding HDR is the only HDR worth using and you won't find that here.Overall:If this monitor holds up over the years I'll most likely be buying Acer again when it comes time to upgrade. This panel feels incredibly premium for the price I paid ($199) and you can tell that great care was taken to provide a clean, color accurate image straight out of the box - most users will be happy to simply enable freesync and set color temp to normal.

Phenomenal!!
This monitor is absolutely stunning for 2k! If you have a next gen console, buy this and never look back!! I absolutely maxed out the visuals on my Xbox Series X and this monitor just eats it up. These consoles are capable of 4k but I have yet to see one run on 4k even half as nice as 2560x1440p. 27" is the sweet spot for 2k and with the system maxed out at 1440p its just stunning. Acer knocked this one out of the park. I would absolutely recommend this monitor to anyone that is console gaming. The recording does not do the visuals any justice as my Samsung galaxy note 20 ultra struggled to capture the lighting changes and intense motion of the gameplay. Any abnormalities seen in this video is strictly the limitations of my 108 megapixel camera. Everything here was captured on Xbox Series X optimized Ride 5. Like I said my phone camera did not do this justice. At the 200+ mph gameplay speed there is absolutely no clipping or blurriness to the background or landscape as this monitor does the upmost to keep things clean and clear. I would buy this 1000 times over if I had to.

Dead pixel the first time I turned it on.
The monitor arrived 4 days early so I was excited to use it. I set it up and plugged my PS5 in. However when it turned on there is a dead pixel right in the center of the screen. The thing is, it doesn't bother me while I'm gaming but I know it's always there and technically I received a defective unit. Thankfully I opted for the two year warranty. If it gets worse, I'm definitely returning it. But other than the dead pixel, everything about this monitor is great.

Easy to recommend, loving using it for photo color correction.
Great resolution for a 27" monitor. I use photoshop, very satisfied with the colors on the screen. The good reviews I read on amazon are correct. I would like to point out some critical points:- It does not have USB C for display transfer, so no data transfer as will. I mean to say is you need to access your computer USB ports for everything, can't connect to the monitor.- The stand seems a bit out-fashioned.- When computer stops sending signals, it should go to sleep, but it turns the screen on and keep checking whether there is any active input. (there should have been an option to turn this off, or if there is any I did not find)- No options to change brightness, contrast from monitor OSD. So, I don't know what is exactly there in gaming 1, 2, 3 profiles! ;-)- Speakers are really okay-ish.These are just nitpicking. Overall, a good monitor. I am getting 2k resolution at 180 Hz using a USB C to Display port cable (should have provided in the box, but I had to buy separately).
