Great camping kettle
I picked up this camping kettle mainly for quick brews on trips and the occasional garden use, and for what it costs, itโs actually pretty decentโbut definitely more โbudget practicalโ than anything fancy. The first thing that stands out is the size. At 3 litres, itโs bigger than most camping kettles, which is great if youโre making tea for a group. You can easily get multiple cups out of one boil, which is perfect for camping, fishing trips, or even just having people over. Build-wise, itโs simple stainless steelโnothing premium, but it does the job. It feels lightweight and easy to carry, and it heats up reasonably quickly on a gas stove. The whistle feature is a nice touch too, so you donโt have to keep checking on it while youโre busy doing other things. () The handle and spout design are fairly practical. Pouring is straightforward, and it doesnโt feel awkward to use, though Iโd still be careful because the handle can get warm after a while (pretty standard for this type of kettle). That said, you can tell where the low price comes in. It doesnโt feel super durable, and I wouldnโt trust it for heavy, long-term use or rough camping conditions. Itโs more suited to casual trips rather than hardcore outdoor use. Also, because itโs quite large, itโs not the most compact option if youโre tight on packing space. Another thing to keep in mind: this is just the kettleโyouโll still need a separate gas stove if you donโt already have one. Overall, Iโd say itโs a solid budget option. If you want a simple, large-capacity kettle for occasional camping or outdoor use, it does exactly what you need. Just donโt expect premium build qualityโitโs more about convenience and value than longevity.

Nifty little kettle
Brilliant kettle, typical looking camping kettle, it's very light, stable and the boiling is brilliant - very good kettle. Will last a while I reckon. We made a few cuppas with it and even boiled some hot dogs in it because we forgot the saucepan ๐ . It's very shiny too, so if you need to check your hair before going the toilets, use it ๐

Sturdy and shiny
Nice and sturdy but the whistle seems to be getting less loud now. I got it because I liked the whistle

Total volume is 3L but you'll only boil 2L at a time
I bought this so that I might boil 3L of water at a time but you can only really fit 2L up to the spout and even then it nearly popped the filling lid off when it had boiled. The whistle started working alright until it was in full boil and then got a bit weak. It would have worked better if I'd filled it less but minimum I want to boil is 2L at a time. It worked well on an induction hob and got to boiling temperature quickly. While the material seems light, that's not to much of an issue. The plastic feels cheap but as long as it performed under heat I wouldn't mind. I think I will return this and either order a bigger one or a different brand if I can find one suitable.

Good value for money
I bought this kettle having recently had power cuts, but have a gas hob Much safer than boiling water in saucepans and it whistles clearly when the water boils, so no need to keep checking it. Looks quite smart and appears sturdy

Don't ever buy
This is NOT the kettle you want. The same day I bought it, used it once and the handle was too hot to touch and melted a bit on the side and the 2nd time the entire plastic on the spout melted off

Not fit for purpose
I was happy with the size of it. But unfortunately the quality is poor. The lid on the spout doesn't work properly causing it to not close fully and as a result no whistle! So when I put on the kettle, I have to check repeatedly to see if the water is boiling or not. So, in my opinion, it fails in it's basic function of a whistling kettle.

Kettle doesn't whistle
The fitting over the spout is not flush, therefore the kettle does not whistle.
