I have a Nokia 1100 and have had it for years and years same with the original charger, that has died a death so bought this replacement just in time as my charger gave up the ghost the day the new one arrived, I plugged in the new charger and put the socket into my phone and the green light changed to red which tells me the charger is working and the phone is being charged.no problems at all . Useful tip do not keep the charger cable wound around the charger keep it long and straight this prolongs the life of the cable and charger.no problems with Techoplay chargers or Amazon delivery, recommend you buy this charger if required.

The charger came pretty quickly and does charge the phone as intended. The pin does seem a bit different and unlike the original charger doesn't fit flush with the chassis of the phone. If charging on a desk with no stress on the cable then it should be fine, but could imagine in certain scenarios the pin falling out and the phone not charging. But that's the only small negative I've found. It means that I can now breathe new live into my 19 year old 6230!

Good quality and excellent value

This was an incredibly inexpensive solution to the problem that I had left my original unit in the States. It arrived quickly, and is exactly what I needed. My less than enthusiastic rating is that it becomes very hot to the touch as it charges my phone. I don't think it's a particular safety issue, but there you are.
