How much ACANA food should I feed my pet?

Feeding amounts depend on your pet's size, breed, and activity. ACANA is palatable; avoid overfeeding. We recommend two meals daily, adjusting portions as needed for maintenance.

What is the difference between fresh, raw or dried ingredients?

Fresh ingredients are refrigerated, raw are frozen at peak freshness, and dried ingredients are concentrated sources of protein made by removing water through cooking.

Where are ACANA’s ingredients sourced from?

ACANA partners with trusted farmers and fisheries globally, ensuring quality and sustainability. We source lamb from New Zealand, fish from Scandinavia, and other premium ingredients for high-protein foods.

How do I transition to ACANA food?

To transition, mix 25% ACANA food with 75% old food, gradually increasing the new food over 10-14 days until fully transitioned, aiding your pet's digestive adjustment.

Why do you use ingredients like vegetables, fruit and legumes?

ACANA includes fruits and vegetables for fiber, vitamins, and minerals, providing binding action for kibble. Legumes offer healthy fiber and carbohydrates; for legume-free options, try ACANA Wholesome Grains.
