It’s a little bit more spicy than what I would consider mild to be. But otherwise good boudin. The shipping is definitely a way better deal than it would be ordering from other sellers.

Just like i remember. I had a taste for boudin and decided to order from this company due to the reviews. My links came in a couple of days packed in dry ice completely frozen. We decided to try them cooked on the bbq grill for starters. After a few minutes they were cooked to perfection, with the skin being nice and crispy and the insides moist and flavorful. A trip back to Louisiana for under a hundred bucks. I will buy again.

Immediately upon opening there was a great smoky smell. After cooking the boudin the trademark snap of the casing was there, then the boudin itself had just the right amount of smoke and spiciness that I grew up on in SW Louisiana. Will buy again and would highly recommend.

We ordered a few different brands of boudin and had them shipped to Oregon from Louisiana. Most of the time the packages arrive within 2 days, however, we have had packages arrive 10+ days after being shipped, so the product was not good upon arrival. The price is what you would expect to pay with shipping, even though we have Amazon Prime, so don't let the price fool you. We have ordered direct from boudin companies, and they charge $100+ for two-day shipping to us in Oregon. So, to be able to buy a pack of 3 12oz. packages each and delivered within two-days is actually a pretty good deal. The Best Stop smoked boudin is delicousness, spicy, but not too spicy, tasty ingredients, the right amount of rice to meat ratio. Casing is tasty grilled to a crisp, tastes like chicken skin, if you are into that.

I bought this product (impossible to find in stores in our area) after a trip to New Orleans where I had "eggs veney" at Muriel's on Jackson Square - one of the best meals of my life. I attempted to recreate that for guests and took a chance on this product. Delicious flavor and texture, spicy (jalapeno, black pepper and garlic) but not overpowering. I would definitely buy this again.
