This is a very nice set. Great for you or to gift to a friend or loved one who enjoys matcha. Durability: I haven't performed a drop test, however, it has a decent weight to it. Taste: The bowl does not effect the taste of the matcha. Functionality: the spout makes pouring from the bowl into the cup easy.

I'm new to making my own match, and the guide that came with this set is wonderful. The entire kit is high quality and looks beautiful as well. Love it!

This set is perfect other than the fact that it didn’t include a mesh strainer. You have to buy that separately. I’m a novice matcha maker but this does the trick. It’s easy to clean as well. Really only need water. I don’t see how matcha sets really differ but this one is solid. No complaints. The green is a subtle color too, nothing too bright.

Lovely set, well packaged and everything you need for making a ceremonial matcha. The colour is lovely and the bowl is wide so makes whisking easy. There is a sieve included which is not mentioned although it does say 5 piece. Very happy with my purchase and would recommend.
