I bought this thermometer a while back and when I went to use it... it wouldn't turn on. I contacted the company via email and was promptly sent another one. Maybe the batteries died, I'm not sure. Customer service was excellent and also funny... 5 STARS... you're my fave person! LOL. Anyway, I started using the thermometer only the other day on my pregnant girl (dog). I also bought the iProven Disposable Probe Covers and these work perfectly together with a little petroleum jelly to get a good temperature reading. I will admit it's not the fastest reading thermometer, however it is so small that it doesn't bother my girl to wait for the beep when it has reached temp and I think it is accurate. I have a larger sized thermometer, but I feel better using this one for her since she's only about 10lbs.

I had ordered the iProven thermometer to monitor our dog as she was getting closer to giving birth. The thermometer arrived a day after ordering, however there was an Error message showing when I tried using it. I emailed the company and Gen replied immediately, sending me a new thermometer immediately. This one works perfectly. Thank you Gen for the excellent customer service!

I decided to purchase this because my dog felt like he was running a fever. After a vet check he was fine but being able to have this thermometer gave me the confidence to check it whenever I need. It was easy to use and my doggie did not seem to mind it. Just make sure you add a little bit of lubricant before inserting it gave a great read. Definitely a good purchase.

Edited: I received excellent customer service from this seller. After sharing my concerns about the accuracy, they replaced the thermometer and this new one works great. Seems fast and accurate. Original review: My dog is going through cancer treatment, so I need to have a reliable thermometer to monitor that she doesn't get an infection while her white blood cells are decreased. As soon as this arrived, I read the included instructions and tried testing it in heated water against two other thermometers I had on-hand (one being a kitchen thermometer, and the other being a human thermometer). This pet thermometer was about 2 degrees F less than the other two, making it unreliable for my needs. I repeated the test about 4 times over the course of an hour, and the results were always off.
