Review: Good but arrived damaged - I bought this portable monitor for occasional work and gaming. The screen itself is good and the packaging was solid. It has multiple connection options, which I liked, and HDR support is a nice bonus. Unfortunately, the unit I received arrived with a fault. About a quarter of the way from the left side, there’s a straight white line of dead pixels. It doesn’t matter which USB-C port I use for power or whether I use mini HDMI or USB-C for display. I tested it with my MacBook as well, and the line is still there. It seems like a manufacturing defect on my unit, which is disappointing because the monitor otherwise looked promising. I’m returning it, but if you get a working one, it could be a good budget option.

I bought this portable monitor for occasional work and gaming. The screen itself is good and the packaging was solid. It has multiple connection options, which I liked, and HDR support is a nice bonus. Unfortunately, the unit I received arrived with a fault. About a quarter of the way from the left side, there’s a straight white line of dead pixels. It doesn’t matter which USB-C port I use for power or whether I use mini HDMI or USB-C for display. I tested it with my MacBook as well, and the line is still there. It seems like a manufacturing defect on my unit, which is disappointing because the monitor otherwise looked promising. I’m returning it, but if you get a working one, it could be a good budget option.

### ⭐ A good product spoilt by poor quality control

I was impressed by the value and performance of this monitor, with one important exception. Despite the packaging saying "100% Tested Quality Guarantee", there was an obvious fault in the display which had a 3 to 4 millimetre wide band of extra bright pixels across the whole width of the screen, (see photos). I have returned the defective monitor for a refund but it must be said that I was so impressed by what it would have been like without the fault, that I have immediately ordered another one and am keeping my fingers crossed that this one will be fault free.
