Not drawstring. Decent shorts otherwise.
Ordered several pairs of these shorts for my son, The other three are great and have a functional drawstring however, the beige bandanna print does not have a functional drawstring. The pockets are also quite small. Otherwise, pretty pleased with the fit and appearance.

Teenage boy shorts
So somehow, I’m embarrassing, but these shorts are not. My son chose them. I don’t really get it. The fabric is a little on the thin side, but in line with the material type. They seem good enough quality and like they will last. Most importantly he’s happy.

Comfy
Worn on vacation and for basketball practice with no complaints. They don't ride up and aren't hoochie daddy length. These shorts were worn by 5 feet 2 inch boy tween.
