Perfect replacement and no glue too.
OEM replacement for my cat trashed weather stripping. I don't know who my cat thinks she is but she has a hate on for my weather stripping. I'd seen her scratch at it before but one afternoon she just laid waste to it and tore a large chunk out of it so there was 8" gone and daylight shining through. Ordered this and it installed quickly and fixed the problem. This stuff is tough, maybe not cat tough but tough. Nothing is getting through this. Awesome product and with the included tool it's a 5 minute job or less. Measure twice, cut once! I wonder if the dog knows anything about this? Oh, and now I spray the area with a cat repellent and so far so good!

Better than Big Box
This weather stripping was almost painfully easy to apply without special tools. I was able to push it into the grooves in the door frame by hand and it was tight and secure. Still too soon to gauge it's insulation or long term durability, but it seems every bit as sturdy as the stripping that came with the door and frame. It also has a foam core like the original. I had recently re-weather stripped my front door with stripping purchased from a big box building supply store. That weather stripping had the same stiff insert to go into the groove as the original and took extensive work with flat-tip screw driver and hammer to install, but came with out the foam core that this stripping has, so not only does it not insulate as well but light comes in around the entire door. It also cost 3d times for one door what this cost for two doors. I will be replacing that over-priced, under-performing stripping with this one. I certainly consider this item very cost effective, and if I had more doors that used this type weather stripping I would not hesitate to buy it again.

good quality, well-constructed.
This weather stripping was a direct and easy swap out. I pulled the old door seal and cut to length and easily installed the new stripping. no fuss no muss. It worked as advertised. Not everything is as straight forward as this. Buy this and you will be pleased.

Great fit with superior air, water, and dirt resistance
I had to replace a rubber weather stripping seal on my front door that was shot, and these seemed like a good choice to pop right into their place. They were a perfect fit. While the original rubber door seal was harder and smoother, this Ravinte brand is puffier and more like a textured vinyl coating that appears to be just as water resistant. The extra relative size really works well for keeping out outside air, or inside air in, and it genuinely stays in place. This in particular was important to me, as our previous rubber seal stuck to our door's paint. The Ravinte has no such issue. The 26 feet gave me plenty left over after going all around the length of the door. Even though it was easy to cut with some heavy duty scissors I have, I found it to be quite durable overall. This is a great replacement that helps to minimize some of the outside noise and will no doubt keep out air, water, and dirt. It absolutely feels like superior draft protection versus the smaller rubber seal I had before.

Perfect fit
Great replacement for original worn out stripping. Easy to install as long as you have that groove in your door frame!

Quality is superb!
Fit the door perfectly and replaced the old worn out one, no leaks of lights coming in, outdoor noise went down, keeps draft out and cold air conditioning in, probably going to save money on electric bill now

Ravinte weather stripping review
I tried a different stripping earlier. It sealed good but it was allowing light at the door jams. I replaced it with Ravinte weather stripping. I was impressed by its quality. It keeps the dust AND the light out. The kerf mounts on the stripping were very firm and good quality.

Good weather stripping
Cats shredded old ones. Fits well in metal or wood grooves, easy to install, and provides a good seal. Have black and white installed on different doors around the house so had to buy both colours and they worked the same.

Work well but not the greatest quality
Purchased the black and after putting it up on one side I realized I needed to paint a bit in beside the stripping and when I pulled it out the foam easily ripped away from the plastic channel(see pic). After that I carefully made sure to pull the hard plastic channel with pliers to ensure not to rip it. The reason I had to paint, as you can see in the picture, is because the foam does not sit right against the side so you can see down in behind. Hard to see in picture cause it was after I painted but before it was white and did not look good. Eventually it will most likely compress a bit and therefore close the gap. Anyway it seals well and does what it should which is seal the door.
