No weird smell. Doesn’t feel weird when applied right after the shower (on damp skin). Perfect consistency. I use it on my face too (not too greasy). Locks in moisture better than CeraVe or Vanicream or Goldbond. Best brand out there for dry skin all year round.

Great deal smell reminds me of baby oil. Would purchase again. Doesn't last as long as I would like last long enough for what it is. Skin feel is hydrated after using. Would need to carry a travel bottle for continued use throughout the day.

Nivea is great as a body lotion, especially this very thick cream formula if you have very dry skin. One application lasts 72 hours, as stated on product description.

Best lotion ever. Perfect weight, perfect scent, perfect absorption, skin won't feel thirsty after use, won't feel gummy, either. No other Nivea version or other lotion will do. The "new" and assumably meant to be improved packaging sucks. They currently show the before and after packaging, stating you may receive either, also assumably until the former is sold out. Pray you get the former. Just LOOK at it. The pump when from reliable, sturdy, able to withstand repeated pumps, to a fragile, scrawny toothpick. Visibly less substantial. I don't know who thought that that was an "improvement", but that person has no design acumen whatsoever. Rule #1: Form FOLLOWS function. Reduce the function, toss the idea. A design MUST FIRST function as intended, and to the best possible design. THEN you can try to pretty it up. If necessary. And it surely was NOT necessary. Now the pump has a flimsy little top, and a flimsy wee little nozzle that breaks off the second it falls over, (which it did immediately). And it will. Eventually or immediately. And then you get a splat of lotion. Sure, it will still pump--sorta. And you can wipe down the top from your messy splat of it every single time. Here's an old adage one should live by: "If it ain't broke, don't 'fix' it!" Now it's just a sloppy mess, and while the lotion is fine, the customer shouldn't have to get a decent bottle to keep it in just to use it. First world problems, sure, but still an unnecessary hassle. Nivea, it's not too late to go back to what you had and fire your packaging design person. You had a solid product sold in solid, functional packaging. A pump may seem unimportant, but it's the details that matter. Now "it IS broke, now it DOES need fixing". Go back to where you took your misstep, PUT IT BACK, and carry on. If there's one thing we all appreciate right now, is the little things that function as they always have. Recipes that stay consistent for decades. No changing just for the sake of messing with a "look". Just be reliable. There's an idea. Give THAT a go.

This review is for this specific body lotion and not anything to do with the size. If you have super dry skin like I do, it’s really hard to find a good moisturizing lotion that addresses alligator-scaly skin that isn’t super thick and greasy. Most of the dry skin lotions I’ve used are tacky and greasy to the point where it takes so long to dry and if you were to lather yourself up after getting out of the shower, you couldn’t pull a pair of pants over because it would just stick too much. I ended up getting a small bottle of this lotion when I was on vacation recently. Because I didn’t bring lotion I just drove to the local drugstore and happen to pick this and I was obsessed. It dries instantly and it’s just so soothing and nourishing. I can’t really describe how creamy and satisfying it is. You could easily put on a pair of pants after a few minutes and it literally just feels like your skin quench it. Being the nerd that I am, I asked ChatGPT what’s different about this formula. Does it do something different to my skin then other lotions do and in a nutshell it’s not better for my skin than others but the texture and how quickly it dries is just more convenient and satisfying, which is beneficial because then you’ll use more of it and more often which will lead to more moisturized skin over over time. I don’t know how many body lotions I’ve started and then just thrown away or let it get old because I just hated the greasy thick feeling of it. Goes on creamer than a lotion, but not quite as thick. Fragrance is nice and subtle as you put it on and then fades. No skin irritation, even after shaving. Will buy again.
