With this phone, do i need to upgrade to 5g or can i just stay with my 4g plan with verizon?

You can stay with your 4G plan. Verizon has 4G and 5G SIM cards. Both will work in the phone.

How do I activate the phone with my current Verizon plan?

It's very easy,as long as you have current service, before you turn your new phone on,, just open the SIM card/SD card tray with your little pin tool and insert your current sim card from your old phone phone into it,, then insert it back into new phone. Now just turn your new phone on and it should walk you right through everything and it will automatically recognize your sim with your current phone number.

In description it say can ne used with verizons pre paid company can it be used with Visable?

I believe so,I'm on Verizon prepaid and it worked fine.

Perfect!

Took a gamble and got a good one. Wasn't working at first with verizon but just needed to run updates, now works great. Couldn't tell it was used at all..looks 100% new = Great Buy.

Worth every bit of $60 and some change!

I damaged my A71 Galaxy phone and needed to replace quickly. I did not want to spend 5 or 6 hundred dollars on another Galaxy. I took a chance and bought this TCL and wow am I impressed! Battery lasts a full day and then some. My main use is Facebook, Youtube, and play music at work. I am 42 and do not need fancy high end. If you are big into gaming and hard social media then the battery might go quicker. Talks, txt, and takes pictures as it should. My only complaint is the screen goes screwy here and there when online. Over all worth it for the middle age to older crowd or a child's first smartphone.

NOT UNLOCKED for all Service, for VERIZON ONLY

Reviews i read said this phone was unlocked, it is NOT... I wanted to put them on my xfinity and im glad I checked the imei BEFORE paying for Sim cards and such because they are NOT compatible with Amy service other than Verizon! Which means they are NOT unlocked for all service... tired of all the lying and misrepresentations on here!

Hmm

The phone is working fine but I’m confused because it said unlocked but the previous SIM card server is stating that there is a different sim inserted. Yet I got to use my phone for a call but I can’t use the hotspot function.

I love the phone but I didnt get any kind of booklet with it. not happy about that. I dont want to return it I just got it turned on today so what can I do I reported that it has a crack and no one has gotten back with me
