Nice. 9/16 wrench doesn't work, need 15mm

My husband has a severe neuropathy so walking got nearly impossible. However, he got a 3-wheel bike which made him stronger but, since he doesn’t have great control over his feet, they kept slipping off the peddles that came with the trike. A friend recommended these and they work perfectly even though they don’t really look all that different from the original peddles. The one tricky part—our friend had to shop for adapters because of one of those metric versus US problems. (I think the trike was US and the peddles metric but I’m not sure.) Anyway, both of us are using the bike now and neither of us have had a foot slip off with these!

I got these to replace the pedals that came on my hybrid commuter bike - the old ones had these pieces that kept hooking on things and I just didn't like them. I've been riding with these pedals for a few months now. Things I like - 1) the studs they have on the edge makes them nice and grippy 2) they have a nice smooth profile that I'm not hooking or banging on things, 3) they have two ways to install them - spots for both with a pedal wrench or a hex wrench, so you have options depending on if you're roadside or home and what kinds of tools you have. Things I dislike - 1) one of the reflectors has already fallen off, 2) if you're not wearing shoes with a particularly stiff sole (I just wear regular running sneakers riding), there's a sort of bump you feel on the platform where the pedal axel is thicker than the rest of the pedal - it's not enough that it's uncomfortable on my length of commute, but if you're riding for much longer I could see it being uncomfortable on your foot, and 3) this is probably user error, but I had one of the pedals pull the threading out of my crank arm and fall off as I was taking off from a stop - I had just put them back on my bike after trying a different set of pedals, so it's possible I did not tighten it down enough, but I thought it was worth mentioning in case this is a trend with these pedals somehow. I have not had a problem since getting a new crank arm and reinstalling things, so it was probably user error.

Se nota que es de un metal sólido, delgado y ligero a la vez; tiene un buen agarre para las plantas de las zapatillas o zapatos, por sus pines antideslizantes, lo cual le da mayor firmeza y seguridad, se nota amplio lo que da mas estabilidad, al manejar la bicicleta en pista como en terreno muy desnivelado con baches. La placa reflejante es un detalle que lo consideré muy importante, lo cual en otros modelos de pedales no los tiene. Estoy contento con estos pedales. Los recomiendo.

bought these for my wife's road bike as I wanted flats, these have solid build with great screws to provide great grip, and the reflectors are a nice bonus for the road. As usual the Rock Bros have a great price

These pedals are well built as far as durability and grip. However, the bearings are VERY stiff. These pedals will not spin freely. If you take you hand and flick the pedal as hard as you can, you would be lucky to get it rotate it a complete revolution.

Llevo un par de semana usándolos, al principio es rara la sensación del agarre a la suela del tenis con los picos que tiene, pero te acostumbras. Buen material, se sienten mucho más firmes que los de plástico que tenía antes.
