She is 5 and very proud of her job well done. It is just color sand and plastic items but the lid with all the different colors lights, lights it up so beautifully. The remote is fun too. I would recommend this for anyone for some one on one crafting time. I just kinda supervised and talked with my granddaughter while she put this together. I had a fun time with this one. My granddaughter and I built it together. She had so much fun with this kit. It came out really nice. She is 5 and very proud of her job well done. It is just color sand and plastic items but the lid with all the different colors lights, lights it up so beautifully. The remote is fun too.
