It came with 700x37c riddlers (tan sidewall). I have looser gravel in my area and like to load the bike up pretty heavy. Because of this the 37's were digging in more than I liked. I went ahead and got these 700x45c tires (black sidewall). They work great! They didn't seem to effect my rolling resistance. Can still keep same pace as the 37's on my routes. (16 - 18mph). They don't dig in nearly as much and can handle single track really well. Love the black sidewalls as well! For reference, I do use tubes.
