Clubman Brown Moustache Wax with Brush/Comb Applicator, 0.5 Ounce

First of all, this color almost exactly matches the rest of my hair and blends really well, which is what I was hoping for. My moustache has a little too much blonde for my liking all on its own, and dying only the 'stache doesn't appeal. With this wax, though, the problem is solved and I don't have to do anything fancier than my usual grooming routine. It's extremely good for keeping a moustache in check, and you can apply it to other parts of your beard if you really want to. Now for a caveat: The instructions tell you to put a *small* amount of this stuff into your moustache. How small is "small"? I guess it depends on what you're going for. If you want the twirliest, boldest, most fake-looking mustache you've ever had, anything more than the size and thickness of a dime will probably achieve that. On the other hand, if you just want a little control and color, all you have to do is squeeze the tube enough to barely see some wax come out, rub that off with your finger, and begin applying to your mustache. It's much better to do this a little at a time and make adjustments until you get the shade and hold you want. Keep in mind that facial hair usually has a few different colors and looks most natural this way, so slathering the wax on (making it all one color) will probably do you more harm than good. Knowing how to use the provided comb/brush helps too. It's most useful for spreading the wax throughout your moustache evenly, which requires a slow, smooth motion through the hairs. I don't have a handlebar and consequently don't know if the comb is adequate for that style. Then again, it's probably safe to assume that most gentlemen sporting a handlebar have their own equipment to do so. As for the smell, I'm not bothered by it. It reminds me a little of oranges and fades significantly within a few minutes. Your mileage may vary. I would definitely buy it again!

A customer I serviced recommended this product to me. It comes in 3 or so different colors. I picked up brown to match my hair color. BE WARNED!! The brown is REALLY brown. I highly dislike the appearance of the wax on my skin as I fix my 'stache, BUT it wipes off with a damp towel easily. The hold is great. I work as a contractor and in the Texas brutal heat and humidity any wax will wilt. It's very easy to fix any daily issues with a single gesture of my hand. All in all, I recommend it! Start with clear first. I'll be trying that next. ALSO! Go to the store and walk down the cosmetics isle. You'll find a brush just like the one that comes in this package, but better built. It's made for eyebrows but it works great on 'staches.

1st time user, the inevitable graying of facial hair has finally arrived with the advancing of years/decades, so tried this product - before the least desirable option of shaving off the iconic, but graying, life-long mustache. After a couple week's use remain pleased with this easy-to-use product and recommend it. This product (brown) applied fairly easy and once dried in a few minutes, didn't make much mess. A light application looks natural. Didn't try to get 100% coverage or a uniform color, just used it to mute the unwelcome gray that was appearing with increasing frequency. Possessing a mustache texture toward the stiff/bristly end of the scale, this grooming/coloring wax also resulted in a more finely groomed look - a bonus. Finally, a slight pleasant citrus note appears upon application and fades after the first few seconds. Beyond that there is no noticeable product odor. The included applicator brush comb combo was effective and of a higher quality than expected, and should last at least through the life of several 1/2 oz dispensing tubes, possibly longer - but there's a new one with every tube anyway.

Tough to get out of the tube, but it's a solid wax and easy to apply and comb. Maybe I got an old tube, but I have a real tough time getting some wax out of it...or that may be by design.

Works well for temporarily blending out stray grey whiskers. If you're mostly grey like me, I suggest Just for Men beard dye, used sparingly, then touch up with this wax. This is a very hard wax, which I like. I use the blow dryer to heat up the tube a bit for dispensing. A little goes a long way. Brush it in with a light touch. Then I use the blow dryer to heat it up on my facial hair as I blend it more thoroughly and do any shaping. Wipe off excess with paper towel. As it cools back down it becomes very durable. Being blonde, I wish they produced it in an even lighter color. Seems like years ago they had a neutral which was almost colorless. Brush is a bit flimsy. Haven't even used half the tube of wax and the brush is a wreck.

There's a reason nobody uses this stuff. It smells like turpentine, and comes out of the tube like the chalkiest brown toothpaste you ever saw. It stains your skin in addition to dying your mustache. If your 'stache is long enough to touch your lips, prepare for everything you eat to taste like chemicals. I don't know what the alternative to this product is, but I'd rather use nothing at all than go this route again.

Put a little warm water in the sink and let it float there for a minute much easier to use, but it works best

Has a nice fragrance (very mild). The wax is not messy and is easy to use. Gives natural looking color coverage. Helps keep hairs in place for a neat and tidy appearance. The added applicator brush/comb works very well. I highly recommend this product.

Being a vain idiot that doesn't like getting old and grey, I love this!!! Makes my tache look thick and brown, not thin and grey. I use two colours to look more natural. So if your an old vain guy too Go for it, give it a go
