SKEAP Silicone Mat for Arts and Crafts –Non-Slip, Non-Stick Craft Mat

This mat is larger than most and exactly what I was looking for to shape my sourdough and roll out pie crusts. I have a tile countertop and needed something thick enough to offset the grout lines. This mat works perfectly for that; much better than the thin silicone mat I've used for years. I probably use this mat at least once a week. Cleanup is easy, and it rolls up nicely for storage.

I was either going to purchase this match or a piece of stainless steel to be able to properly shape my sourdough. It always seems to stick to my countertop and I always seem to have to use a scraper to get it off, so I figured either a stainless steel surface or something like this would be the best alternative. This silicone mat exceeded my expectations because that only was it far cheaper than stainless steel, I feel it’s a better solution for what I specifically needed. My wet dough does not stick to this at all and this mat doesn’t move once you place it on the countertop. It’s very thick and has a raised lip so that if I am using some kind of inclusion in my bread, it’s not going to escape. It came in a box folded up, which I know some said they didn’t like, but I didn’t experience any long-term wrinkles so far and it even came with a nice strap to keep it rolled up for a storage! This is heat, resistance, and oven safe, so it will even act like a trivet to protect your countertops as well. Absolutely worth the money and I’m recommending this product to all of my sourdough, baking friends!

I love this mat! I bake a lot and dont like rolling dough on my counter. The mat I previously had was flimsy and small. This mat is a great size, its got weight to it and does not slip around at all. The surface is perfect . It cleans up easily and I roll it up and store it away. I just bought another one for my daughter. Highly recommend.

Finally able to use this and it worked great. Stayed in place and easily washed off. Great item.

Great mat; easy to clean and like the large size. Only thing is band to hold it rolled closed was too small and broke the first day. Just use a Velcro cable tie.

I purchased this for making sourdough and glad I did. It’s easy to clean by hand wash and work very well with sticky dough. It never slip. It’s firm and durable when shaping the dough on. I bake at least once a week so I waited using for months before writing a review.

Absolutely LOVE! I didn't want to knead on the counter, and this mat doesn't slide at all. It's thick enough to make a flat surface over my tile countertop. Cleans up easy with just warm soapy water, dry, and just roll it up for next time. It's very large and lets me have enough room to roll out x-large pizza dough and cinnamon rolls. It's exactly what I needed, but better than I expected. When does that happen?!?

I have enjoyed using this mat. I have a very small kitchen and this mat has been wonderful to use. I am able to clear the one section and use the mat. You will get the value for your money out of using it, my dough doesn't stick to the mat, super easy to clean, and easy to store when not in use.
