Nice little vice. I saw these a a good price so I bought 2, I’m always needing something like this. I didn’t buy for any particular reason, but it arrived today and within 30 mins I had a need for it. I worked great!

I'm so glad I got this, it has made working on all of my projects so much easier! I especially appreciate the extra supports(yellow thingies) to help keep things in place that are oddly shaped or too big for just the clamp itself. Has made slicing my walnuts so much safer and easier I couldn't be more thankful for this little guy! Perfect size for hobby projects and has rounded out my toolset very nicely. Nice little, cheap vise for just holding objects in position as long as you're not exerting a lot of force on those objects. The round plastic pins that screw on top do a great job of accurately and securely centering objects in the vise. For example, I use mine to fixture parts in a laser engraver. Made from powder-coated aluminum, with a steel leadscrew and the jaws are waxy, soft-ish plastic (LDPE or similar). Given those materials, you won't want to tighten too much or you'll quickly wear out the aluminum nut that the leadscrew sits in. As with all cheap vises, the jaw plays excessively. To get accuracy and repeatability, you'll need to unscrew the slider from underneath and file it down so that it's almost level with the track. When you reassemble it, you'll need to substitute a 1" fender washer for the stock washer which is undersized and allows a lot of play. Oh, and you'll need to oil all moving surfaces and screws. If you do this, you'll get an accurate tool.

Another example of a product where the price shows. The clamp has some design flaws where the screw joins with the movable jaw – there is a lot of wiggle room, so this will not hold smaller items without the clamp flexing inwards. The screws also do not screw all the way in on the movable jaw, so the rubber that holds your work is not fixed and wobbles. Overall serviceable if you're not doing anything majorly delicate.

I need something to hold my jewelry while I make it the clamps on this product and the way you can screw those knobs and to help you go around curves and make curvature in your wired jewelry is amazing. I should’ve bought this a long time ago. I’m so glad I did I would recommend, it’s small and easy to travel with so that’s also adds to the value

I got this to assist on my Dremel drill press in holding the work. This work spectacularly.

I mean....itll clamp. But badly. It doesnt line up properly. Once you tighten it the jaws misaligne.. thr fit and finish are not awesome either. Woulda rather aaved my ten bucks. You can get a legit one for 30 to 40. Yea but its better than this

This is made of die cast aluminum with a series of precision taps for all sorts of jaw inserts. Holds many small items for inspection/cleaning/driling etc. in a perfectly safe manner with the grooved plastic jaws. Can be bought at an auction site at almost twice the price, so this is a great value. It is exactly what you would expect.
