Review: Great for travel and blackouts! - Took this on a trip with the kids and just got back to a power outage and we love it! Cons - on the heavier side; takes a long time to charge via outlet; cable are short - wish this also had a strap to hold onto your device, but having the cables built in while traveling saved us from having to dig in our bags for longer cables so honestly I didn’t even think about grabbing another cable to use; feels a little loose in outlets and you need one with plenty of clearance under it (my mom’s kitchen counter the outlet is sideways and this wanted to flop forward a bit so I had to push something g up against it to hold it closer to wall to charge). Pros - outweigh any cons. Looking back I see that it’s supposed to charge faster with a USB cable which I didn’t realize, I just plug it into the wall - not all of these portable chargers have that feature, I absolutely love that because this makes it really handy if you forget the wall plug piece (and I also don’t have to deal with USB versus USB-C plug ends which I am dealing with as I am trying to switch more over to USB-C instead of USB-A and have some of both with the different wall plugs). This fully charged up my phone, my daughter‘s phone, and was still over 30%. It does take a while to recharge plugged into the wall, but our phones were charged to the point where we didn’t need it while it recharged. Bought this for my son for Christmas so we haven’t had it that long, but haven’t used as much. Took this on a trip with the kids and just got back to a power outage and we love it! Cons - on the heavier side; takes a long time to charge via outlet; cable are short - wish this also had a strap to hold onto your device, but having the cables built in while traveling saved us from having to dig in our bags for longer cables so honestly I didn’t even think about grabbing another cable to use; feels a little loose in outlets and you need one with plenty of clearance under it (my mom’s kitchen counter the outlet is sideways and this wanted to flop forward a bit so I had to push something g up against it to hold it closer to wall to charge). Pros - outweigh any cons. Looking back I see that it’s supposed to charge faster with a USB cable which I didn’t realize, I just plug it into the wall - not all of these portable chargers have that feature, I absolutely love that because this makes it really handy if you forget the wall plug piece (and I also don’t have to deal with USB versus USB-C plug ends which I am dealing with as I am trying to switch more over to USB-C instead of USB-A and have some of both with the different wall plugs). This fully charged up my phone, my daughter‘s phone, and was still over 30%.
