The metal belt clip and the straps are all movable and reversible making it ambidextrous and adaptable to various pistols. The metal belt clip fits inside a sewn strap and the hold down straps are good strong Velcro. The mag pouch holds my double stack magazine perfectly. The description does not state it, but it can be used inside the pants too. The only difference between this and the regular inside the pants holster is the added mag pouch. You don't have to carry a second Mag but it is nice to know you can. You may have to do a little trial and error with the strap to get it to fit properly so it holds your fire arm securely. It is no speed holster but it is not bad, the thumb break for the strap works ok because it is made of nylon strap and not reinforced like the higher end holsters are.
