A: No it doesn't. The single cable from the fans runs to the Icue Link Hub. The hub connects to one of the USB 2.0 headers on your motherboard, along with a pcie 6 pin power cable from your PSU to the Icue Link Hub. Beyond that, it just requires Icue Software.

These Corsair iCUE Link QX120 RGB fans are excellent. The magnetic daisy-chain system makes installation super clean with way fewer cables, which is a huge plus for cable management. Airflow is strong and they stay pretty quiet even under load. The RGB lighting is bright, smooth, and fully customizable through iCUE, making them look amazing in any build. Definitely a premium option, but worth it if you want performance and a clean aesthetic.

These fans are amazing. i have two PCs, and they both have the corsair icue link systems. the wiring is easy, the program is easy, and i just overall love the look of these fans. love how they also have a temp sensor built into each fan. over all really great buy, and love how they look in my H5 Flow cases. i got these when it was on sale for prime day for 60 bucks, the black ones, and get the white ones used for 80 a few months back. best fans i ever got.

These are excellent fans. They feel of high quality materials, the RGB is bright and in your face and the noise levels at all RPMs are great! Currently running 11 fans in my case and all those only require two wires running to the back to a tiny little controller; thanks for iCue Link! You can’t talk about these fans without talking about the new Corsair iCue Link system. This is a one cable, system that seriously cleans up all your wires! You get RGB, Fan Control, Temperature and Daisy Chain! This is easily the best system out right now if you are looking to simplify your rig! The “killer feature” is probably the exclusive “Time Warp” lighting that can make your fans look like they aren’t moving, or moving slowly. It’s truly an awesome feature and it looks amazing! Noise is well controlled through 1200RPM, lower noise profile is more pleasing to my ears, and reminds me most of Noctua NF-A12s which is saying a lot. These are extremely expensive compared to other solutions, but I think it’s the best one. Biggest let down is the lack of Link cables. Corsair really needs to step up and provide at least a couple cables with these fans for the price. PLEASE CORSAIR AT LEAST GIVE US ONE 90 Degree cable!
