My Orthopedic Surgeon recommended taking amino acids before and after knee replacement surgery. I found this to be very effective. I continue to take them when I feel it necessary.

I took these pre- and post-hip replacement surgery. I believe it help the muscle healing process. I continue to take them daily because I cycle, run, and lift weights regularly.

No complications or side effects. It seems to be a good product.

Amino Acids are the building blocks of protein - which in turn is the building block of muscle. I've been a big believer in them for many years for anyone who works out regularly, particularly those who weight lift or are trying to build muscle. These Wildfuel amino acid capsules are a convenient form, and each bottle holds a month's supply. They are easy enough to swallow. These are made in the USA, were packaged well, and are clearly labeled. These would be a 5-star product to me, other than the fact that (as noted by another reviewer) their website is not currently functioning, which makes it difficult to find out more about the company, product, certifications, or other information.

Amino acids are essential for the development and health of the body. Most people that workout at the gym can tell you the importance amino acids play in building up strength in the body, recovering from workouts, and having good endurance. This supplement has a nice blend of nine essential amino acids including branched chain. I have been doing a decent amount of yard work recently, to include shoveling a lot of landscaping rock, so I felt I could use some more amino acids (especially since changing to a mostly vegetarian diet and not sure I was getting as many as my body needed). Compared to the previous year when I didn’t take amino acids, I feel like I am maintaining muscle mass better, recovering better, and working longer without feeling as fatigued. The supplement comes as a white powder in an average sized cellulose capsule that is easy to swallow. The capsules come in a barely transparent brown plastic bottle with a black plastic screw on cap. Since the bottle does let in a little light, I would recommend storing it in a dark place to protect the supplement from light. The supplement is made in the USA in a GMP certified facility and third party tested, so you can be confident the supplement is of good quality and free of harmful substances. It is non-GMO, gluten free, and vegan. There is a lot number and expiration date printed on the bottom of the bottle. This pack came with two bottles of 120 capsules each, and with a recommended serving of four capsules, that gives a 30 day supply per bottle. I think this is a good amino acid blend, containing nine essential amino acids. For me, I seemed to notice a difference in how I felt while working in the yard and recovering from a hard days work. I’ve tried another product from Wild Fuel before and found it to also be of good quality, so it seems the brand is committed to making good products. If you are looking for a pill based amino acid supplement, then I would recommend giving this one a try.
