Is it possible to play directly from the wd black solid state drive in the m2 expansion slot?

On PS5, you can store the entire game, not just save data, to the WD Black SSD. The game(s) will play from and launch off of the m2. The Sony OS which controls the PS5 will stay on its internal drive, so you won't get speed increases on the OS. But it will load games faster if you move them to the WD Black. Not sure if that answers your question.
