Intel AX210HMW WiFi Card, Wi-Fi 6E Wireless Card Mini PCIE Interface | Tri-Band Wireless Module for laptop, 802.11AX WiFi Adapter with Bluetooth 5.3, MU-MIMO, Support Windows 11/10 (64bit)/Linux

I used this as an inexpensive way to update and greatly improve the Wi-Fi capabilities of a Dell M4800 workstation laptop (circa ~2014). This laptop came with an Intel Centrino Ultimate-N 6300 adapter, and at this point Wireless-N (aka "WiFi 4") is a very old and slow standard. Although I had a minor reservation about replacing a 3x3 card with a 2x2 (less theoretical range), I'm nothing but happy with the end result. It's simply great that the old Mini PCIE standard still has some support from these modern adapters. This EDUP AX210HMW adapter is a genuine Intel chipset (meaning that it is rock-solid stable and widely compatible), features Bluetooth 5.3, and with Wireless-AX ("WiFi 6E") is capable of blazing-fast speeds. I have used EDUP products before and had good experiences, so I was confident in buying this. Installation difficulty will depend on your specific laptop or motherboard, but it's very easy on the M4800. Testing of the old card showed that the old Centrino adapter could only muster downstream/upstream speeds of 140.64mbps and 26.82mbps with respective latencies of 224ms and 215ms. Perhaps good in 2014, even impressive in 2009 when the standard was new, but simply poor in the modern era. Plus, it did not have Bluetooth of any sort. Testing of this new adapter resulted in downstream/upstream speeds of 753.45mbps and 465.39mbps, with respective latencies of 26ms and 25ms. MASSIVE improvement! WiFi-6E and BT 5.3 are not the latest-and-greatest standards - that would be Wireless-BE ("WiFi-7") and BT 5.4 - however, Windows 10 and prior are not capable of supporting WiFi-7, so unless you're running Win11 or Linux, and unless the networks you're using are also WiFi-7, it would be of little use and this adapter is the best option. There are some other caveats to keep in mind, as well. Many laptops will have BIOS restrictions and refuse to boot with unapproved, non-whitelisted adapters (Looking at you, Lenovo) UNLESS you are willing to perform a fairly complicated and potentially risky UEFI BIOS modification, which is not something I would recommend for the uninitiated. The BT functionality also relies on the Mini PCIE slot being capable of USB, since it functions via USB, so it may not work on some laptops. On the M4800 none of this was an issue, but be sure to do a little research beforehand as due diligence to save yourself a headache.

If you're looking for a solution to restore Bluetooth functionality to a notebook / laptop type computer, then this may work for you - it did for me. The particulars: HP Pavilion DV7 Entertainment Notebook; year of manufacture, 2013. Circumstances, situation: OS upgrade from OEM Windows 7 Pro 64 to Windows 11 Pro 64, licensed. After upgrade to Win 11, WiFi continued to work, but no Bluetooth connectivity. Multiple attempts to update drivers as per typical trouble shooting routines - did not resolve. So - back online, ask AI Google if there is a windows 11 compatible replacement / upgrade for the OEM WiFi Bluetooth card for a 2013 DV7 - it comes back with this product - so . . . . long & short - it's now installed, major gain in WiFi connection speed, Bluetooth restored and working - and best of all - didn't even have to install the drivers for it!! Highly recommend it to anyone looking to keep their gear running - 15 minutes to install - WOW! All computer work should be this easy -

Best less than $30 upgrade I have had for my old MSI GP70 2QF laptop. This thing is a beast and I truly have got my moneys worth out of it. This upgrade makes using it that much more enjoyable. Now I can leverage all of my bandwidth from my Internet provider and also run WPA3 WIFI security. No more lame deauthentication attacks from the neighborhood script kiddies!

Super happy with this card. I put it in my old 2011 Alienware and my speeds are literally almost 8 times faster now. Pretty crazy that it jumped 3 whole generations of Wi-Fi tech in one swap.Just a heads up for anyone buying: download the Intel drivers BEFORE you take your old card out, otherwise you won't have internet to get them after! Worked in a 2014 era laptop. Now I have 5 ghz access. My Internet provider has settings in their router that about a month ago locked my laptop to 802.11a speeds, which is about 20 mbps (it used to connect at over 200 mbps), and since all the router settings are greyed out I can't fix that. I'm also on Ubuntu, so I could troubleshoot and see it definitely was not my laptop being the issue (plus other devices using the frequency band were still getting full speed). So, I bought this wifi card and put it in my laptop. Using this as my workaround, now I get faster speeds than ever. About 1100 mbps. It was really easy to install. AI told me it wouldn't work, but it worked. Didn't even need to install any drivers.

I tested this card as well as the M.2 version from the same company with this adapter: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B083YW3RM3 While this card does work and was still a huge upgrade over my 10 year old stock card, it had some driver issues while setting up where the M.2 version was a much smoother installation process, and I was able to get more consistent higher speeds using the M.2 card compared to this one. Whether because of the card or just a coincidence I'm not sure, as in theory they should both be the same chip, but it seemed to be consistent in my machine at least. Both cards had wifi 6 and both had huge speed improvements over my original card as well as much improved bluetooth range. The biggest pro for this card is space savings, as it will take up the same space as your original PCIe card. The M.2 card with adapter is going to be twice as thick and at least a cm and a half longer than the PCIe card alone, so you should open your machine and check how much extra space you have around your wifi card slot, I suspect a lot of slimmer machines will have a hard time fitting the adapter. My machine is a large MSI gaming laptop with ample space around the wifi card where some models have an extra msata SSD expansion slot on the motherboard that slots on top of the wifi card, and even then I can only fit the M.2 adapter by a hair due to the SSD mounting post. At $10 cheaper than this card, the M.2 card plus the $10 adapter come in at the same price, and for me I had better results with that so will be sticking with it, but both are completely viable options and the main determining factor as far as I can tell will be what you can fit inside your machine. This card will be completely serviceable if you don't have the space for the larger adapter card.

The wifi worked but could never get the BT to work at all, no matter which drivers I tried.

Se configura fácil solo hay que bajar los controladores uno para el wi-fi y el otro para el Bluetooth, la página viene en el instructivo. Al principio no encontraban mis dispositivos pero solo era cuestión de presionar un botón en el dispositivo para hacerlos visibles. Mi laptop trae un i7 un poco antigua, llevo 2 meses con la tarjeta y no ha presentado fallas , se conecta al wifi sin problemas y al igual que los dispositivos Bluetooth que tengo se conectan sin problemas. El producto viene bien empacado, viene dentro de una caja de cartón y en un estuche de plástico. Había comprado anteriormente un adaptador USB el cual no funcionó y lo regresé y a la semana me regresaron el pago a mi tarjeta tras lo cual adquirí esta tarjeta interna, me ahorre el gasto de tener que comprar una laptop nueva.

Connected the laptop to the net by Ethernet and it downloaded the drivers on its own! Huge difference in Wifi speed increase!

Was able to use this adapter to upgrade a 15 year old laptop that I'm keeping for specific reasons, to Wi-Fi 6E. Zero issues with Linux Kernel 6.8. Bluetooth 5.3 works perfectly fine as well.
