I typically wear a size large bottom and medium top. My thighs are currently 25.5inches in circumference. The large fits well, particularly in the waist however it doesn’t fit in a skin tight manner as shown in the product photo. This is great for me personally but if you’re looking for something skin tight you should probably size down. I like the length of these because they’re a little more modest which is great when you’re playing sports on the beach etc. I have other pairs of swim bottoms for tanning or a more “sexy” look for a beach date with the hubby but these are great for a family reunion type situation or for a more active beach day.I wore them in the water for snorkeling and they were great! They didn’t fall down or ride up. I was able to focus on all the beautiful underwater wildlife with out being distracted by my swim wear. I chose a large according to the measurements and its to big for me. I will NOT be able to wear these shorts for scuba diving, although I purchased these shorts for it.
