DREO Space Heater, Portable Electric Heaters for Indoor Use with Thermostat

Excellent little ceramic heater. It is compact and works really well. I especially love the fact I can program the temperature. This was purchased to give my parrot a little extra heat and it works perfectly at a great price.

Man, I can't recommend this thing enough. My building has a problem with the heat. It runs, so nobody dies and the pipes don't freeze, but that's about it. I have layers and flannel lined jeans and stuff, but my hands are still cold, and when you sit somewhere for 8 hours, the cold seeps through multiple layers. We aren't really supposed to have space heaters, and I didn't want to spend much money on something I was going to leave at work and might only need for a short period of time. (I mean, they are working on the heat. I'm sure it will be fixed someday.) So, I bought this tiny little space heater on special. My plan was to stick it under my desk where no one could see it and just take the edge off the cold. That didn't really work out. This thing pushes out heat. I don't just mean it gets hot. It does, but whatever it does also moves that heat around. There's a fan. It doesn't really seem to blow much air, but man, it circulates that heat. I got delusions of grandeur and I moved it to the plugin in the corner under the window and aimed it diagonally across my office. Sure enough, I could make the whole space warmer. It's like 15' x 10' with a weird curved wall on one side. The little heater lets you do different settings. I didn't read the manual or anything but I got the gist of the digital numbers on the front. If I set it to 74 degrees, my office is 74 degrees and not slowly either. In like 5 minutes the whole office. If I set to 78 it's 78. I decided to mess around and put the thing on 90. It was so hot I was sweating. I could make that thing a sauna if I wanted to. And it just sits there. Quiet. Tiny. You wouldn't even know it was there if you didn't go looking for it because there was a 20 degree difference when you walked through the doorway. When somebody complained about it getting left on overnight and wasting electricity or catching on fire, I showed them the timer I set every morning to ensure it was safely turned off as soon as my feet hit the parking lot. I have people come by asking me what kind it is because they can feel the heat as they walk by in the hallway or they heard about it. Others have heaters that work just as well, but they are like 4 feet tall and then twist back and forth and sound like a big fan in the corner. The space around the heater gets hot but there are cold spots. Weaksauce. I've had it for just about 3 months now with no issues. Seriously. This was a total accident. I bought this to me a temporary, disposable, make do, solution to a cold office and it turned out to be an awesome find. Get one. I've got two more on order. I want to try one in my uninsulated garage. I think it will win.

Amazing performance. Its heat output is surprising. Its safety features are standard and quality. Everything worked very well. It kept me warm through winter even on the lower heat level! It’s a nice-looking, decent-quality heater and a good price.

Never get "smart anything." DO get digital. The auto temp can be set below 60* (I set night temps at 55*, this is often missed) I've researched specs, and trial & error. This one is the best for basic needs, pretty much at any price point. (the vortex heaters are the tech Cadillac of heating efficiency, but i needed smaller & quieter for a small space) brief: Quietest, easy tune on the white noise. Compact, not a box, & actually nice looking. Once the buttons are figured out (a little tricky) the digital temp control & fan speed combos circulate the heat very well. The remote can turn off the beeps & lights. And get the remote.

Great product , has amazing heat , it does auto shut off if it’s too hot , the gold is pretty it would definitely be 5 stars but it hasn’t even been 3 whole weeks and it stopped working on me ! I did let them know and the immediately sent a new one but if this one stops working then I will come back and give updates !

This product works very well and it actually heats a bigger room than what I thought it would and it doesn’t get hot to the touch and it’s a real nice product in handy to keep around when it gets cold, but I’m in Florida so it never really gets cold, lol

I own a larger DREO model so when I came across this product I thought I'd give it a try. Negative(s): -Oscillation Do any of the negative(s) affect my overall rating and/or recommendation? No. This space heater isn't advertised to oscillate so it doesn't affect my rating but just worth noting. It doesn't need to oscillate as it heats up approximately 10' x 12' ft room easily and quickly. It's also really quiet that you can't even tell it's on. It's easy to use and has all the functions you need. You can use one of the preset levels (H1-3) or set it to a specific temperature so once the heater reaches it, the fan will stop. This is perfect for my parents to keep their room comfortable without overheating it. The remote control makes it convenient to turn on/off and change the mode. The buttons on top are big and easy for my parents to see and use. Overall, DREO makes very good and inexpensive heaters/fans that perform as good if not better than more expensive brands and I would highly recommend this product.

Heats up super fast and is quiet. A small unit with a big output. Of course, I finally got around to reviewing this when the average temperature outside is probably 75 degrees but that's how I roll! I used it in my home office last winter and it performed flawlessly. The videos by reviewers were very helpful as well. You can also check it out on Youtube.
