We purchased the ECOOPTS 7'x26' Retractable Wave Sun Shade Canopy last year, and it has been a great addition to our outdoor space. The retractable design is incredibly convenient for adjusting the amount of shade depending on the time of day. Pros: The material feels durable and provides excellent shade. The installation process was straightforward with clear instructions. The canopy slides smoothly on the rails, making adjustments quick and easy. Cons: It struggles a bit in strong winds, so I recommend retracting it during storms or high winds to avoid damage. Overall, this is a functional and stylish canopy that has made spending time outdoors much more comfortable. I’d recommend it for anyone looking to add flexible shade to their patio or deck!

To hang more than one shade side by side in a set measure of space. You need about three inches between shades and 1 1/2 " to 3 " on sides. Too close to the posts they will rub and cause fraying. Other than that advice, I would give these shades a high score. Everything to set them up was provided. 68 years old and I had no problem getting them set up with no help. I had two 4ft by 12 ft shades.

I bought 2 of these to go with my Yardistry Meridian 8 x 10 pergola. I did have to cut one section off to get the draping right but it was easy to do and looks great.

Very nice retractable shade. Installation pretty straightforward for two people and took about two hours. Would rate five stars but my order had a defective turnbuckle which I had to replace in order to get proper tension on stainless steel cable. Also, you will likely need a good cable cutter to cut off excess cable.

Install was super easy, came with directions. However, I didn't use some of the hanging hardware, I instead purchased threaded Eye bolts that went thru the wood and tightened the steel cables as much as possible to minimize sag. The mesh covering material is woven plastic which makes it permeable but wont retain water to add weight. Install was a little time consuming not due to instructions but because I made constant adjustments until I was pleased. Super happy with it. I ordered 1 (7ft wide x 16ft long) at first to see if it was worth buying more. I then purchased 2 (4ft x 16ft) and another (7ft x 16ft). If you need to shorten to a size not available… its easy to cut down. The rails are aluminum and can be cut with a grinder, the mesh cover can be cut with scissors, the fiber rod can be cut with a serrated knife or large sharp scissors. The end caps are plastic and secure with a Philips screw. Reassembly is a handful, a second hand makes reassembly easy. I added rope and pulleys to retract 2 at a time and hold them open or closed. Shortened as needed and kept the excess for parts if needed in the future.

I bought 3 of these and they retract in the slightest breeze. I attached magnets to each end so that they would not retract all the time . They should have come with some way to keep them from retracting. Because of that I don't think I would recommend these. Assembly was easy but a pain.
