Does the watch measure heart rate and calculate calories burned?

it does do that. I found that compared to the Apple Watch 8, when I was running or cycling it took the 965 took a little bit longer to register the heart rate. but after about 10-15 seconds it would be very close to what the apple watch said for a heart rate.
