I can't tell you how great this hat is. The color is a little brownish. Grey/brown. Which means it goes with everything. The quality is beyond my expectations. Thick wool with a beautiful maroon satin liner. The black band is the correct thickness. Esthetically perfect old fashion fedora. I wore it in the rain, and it got good and soaked. My hair stayed dry. The hat retained it's shape. For the price I can't believe it. I've finally found MY hat. I'm 6 feet and medium build. I chose the smaller size. At first I thought it was a mistake. It has stretched slightly so it's comfortable, and doesn't fly off in a strong wind. I've gotten two compliments by ladies passing by. Perfect!

I bought this to complete a grey pinstriped suit for a Harlem Renaissance event. Perfect! I researched a LOT of hats, brim size, etc, and for the price, this is definitely one of the best options. I actually returned a hat that was supposed to be an authentic brim size for the era but it looked more like an Indiana Jones fedora. This hat is the exact look I was going for. I got a ton of compliments! It isn't just a cheap costume hat. It is soft and lightweight. I had no problem keeping it on the rest of the evening after the event!

I'm always wearing a fedora, but the one I have is old and distressed with age. I'm attending a wedding in the near future and though I like the way the old one looks I needed a new one.This fedora fills the ticket. It's stylish, the color goes with my outfit (dark gray) and it's 100% wool, so it will retain its shape for years to come. The fedora came well packaged and in the time promised. I'll be purchasing another hat from this vender in the near future.

I own 11 hats. I have hand made fur felt, I have 4 Stetsons, an Akubra and other high end hats. I ordered this hat on a whim with some other items from Amazon and I was really surprised by it. It's 100% wool, it fits well, it's comfortable and looks good. It's definitely not a cheap party hat. You can wear this hat anywhere, dressed up or very casual. I can be more wreckless with this hat because it's not expensive, so I'm not scared to wear it, crumple it or leave ot in the car in the sun. It's a good hat. If you like the look, buy it. You won't regret it. I saw some reviewers complain about it being out of shape. Guys, you can steam it over a boiling kettle and reshape it, it's very easy. Look at the hats and guitars channel on YouTube to see more in depth details on shaping or straightening a hat. You can always reshape hats.One of my wool hats got drenched recently and ended up looking like a crumpled wet towel. I let it dry, then reshaped it bit by bit over several days and it is almost as good as new. You can spary it a few times with hair spray to make it stiffer, don't put on too much at a time and let it dry in between. If you put on too much it will shrink in that spot. You can also spray fabric/uppolstry protector to make it more waterproof.

Its a hat. Worked for my kids dance performance. Good quality, not cheap like some of the ones you see on here. Comfy, lightweight and cute

I am a hat person, but unfortunately, I have a hard time finding hats that both fit me well and look good. This one definitely does both. First, it arrived from Amazon in a box and with a plastic insert inside of the hat and a foam band above the brim so it was in perfect shape when I received it. I am normally a L in hats, size 7 3/8 or size 59. This hat is just slightly big, but it's not a problem because it actually comes far enough down on my head that I don't feel like I am balancing it on top of my head. Additionally, it has enough weight to it that it doesn't feel like it will fly off. It is extremely well made with a nice formed crown and brim. Satin lining inside. It does not look or feel cheap. The burgundy color is rich and even. It does not look or feel cheap. I don't have a single criticism of this hat, and I will very likely order another in a different color.
