How often is the wooden brush replaced? Monthly ? ?

I would expect that depends on how much use it gets. I find I am not using it as much as my longer handled brush. The bristles are softer than I expected and when scrubbing they bend easily. So I tend to only use it occasionally. When the bristles start to spread is when I replace my brushes. I usually will clean the brushes by putting them through the dishwasher , top rack, but I am not sure if the wood knob handle will be okay after. I don’t think I will replace it with another when it is time. But, it looks nice sitting on the counter basically unused!

How would you use this to clean a glass?

I wouldn’t use this on glass. The bristles are very firm and could scratch the glass. I use it on cast iron.
