Since I must consume gluten-free foods, I found the Katz gluten-free strawberry toaster pastry tasted every bit as good as the leading pop tart brand. The texture is also so close there is not much difference. If there is one drawback, it would have to be the price, as these cost quite a bit more, and you only get half the quantity to a box. However, keep in mind, I believe the extra cost is warranted just to once again be able to have a pop tart if you can't eat wheat. I also really liked the Glutino brand toaster pastries, but Conagra foods discontinued those for whatever reason. Overall, still a pretty good value, and I give 4 stars for this product (would be a 5 if cost were lower).

We loved these so much! Be careful with the heat setting on your toaster. Start lower than you think you will need and go up. We were looking to get a new toaster anyway but we had to get one because of what happened when we toasted these. The toaster was set at the normal setting of around just under 2. It melted the icing off so then it started smoking but then the icing was stuck inside the toaster so the next time we used it, same thing happened so we just threw it away and got a new toaster and now we have it down to a science!😊

These taste great and are fantastic for lactose intolerance! I'm not sensitive to gluten and don'ttypically look for gluten free products, but I appreciate the thought put into these. They are a bit dry at rom temp, but warming* them up a bit melts the filling enough to be slightly gooey. They're a decent size—about the size of a PopTart. Cons for my order: All of the pastries in each box had only have the pastry iced. I imagine this may have been a storage issue, as they were fully iced bought from a local store. The quality control of these may be a bit off, thouh, as one of my boxes only came with three pastries. When reaching out to Katz via email, they politely advised to reach out through the Amazon platform (per Amazon policy), so if you need customer service, reach out directly through Amazon or Amazon support. *not in a standard upright toaster as the icing will melt to the metal; heat in toaster oven or microwave

I don't like the icing on these so I scrape it off. Other than that they are good.

‼️ DO NOT TOAST THESE IN THE TOASTER. my less than 1 year old toaster caught on fire (so I know it wasn't the toasters fault.) The icing is NOT SUITABLE FOR TOASTERS. Thankfully the fire was caught in time with minimal damage. Still pondering suing simply because there is nothing on the label stating not to toast these, and that i don't want anyone else's residences burning down. Edit: made it 5 stars so yall can see this easier.

DANGEROUS PRODUCT! My sons made some of these and started screaming FIRE! I came running in to see 10" flames coming out of the toaster (which was under a cabinet). When I emailed the company about how dangerously flammable their icing is, their response was "your kids should have followed directions!" I'm wondering what the response would have been if my house had burned down? This icing bubbles off allowing it to reach the heating element. The front of the box says "TOASTER pastries" This type of food is often heated by children, and you can't expect children to get out a stopwatch to make them so they don't burn their house down. Terrible product and actively negligent company!

When these gluten free toaster pastries are made correctly, they're delicious. Unfortunately, half of the box is filled with pastry with no filling and/or top frosting, and then they are dry and tasteless. These are very pricey and clearly take advantage of people that cannot consume gluten by upcharging for subpar product. Very disappointed this company's quality control has declined lately.

If I hadn't bought a box to try them, I would have missed out on a Great Tasting Toaster Pastry! You almost can't tell that there gluten free.......Their crispy right out of the toaster! Flavor is Awesome! I've bought these 3 times so far....... And yes, I will keep buying them because, their just that good!
