I do a mix of work and some light gaming and I wanted something that wouldn't break the bank but also wouldn't look terrible sitting next to my main display. The price on this one caught my eye. Likes: * The picture quality on this thing is excellent. Colors are bright and accurate, and the IPS panel means I can see the screen clearly even when I'm not sitting dead center in front of it. I moved around a bit during setup and the image stayed consistent the whole time. * The screen is big enough to have two windows open side by side without feeling cramped. I use it primarily for email and reference docs while I work, and its perfect for that. * The refresh rate is zippy. Scrolling through long documents and web pages feels super smooth. I also tested it with a few games and there was zero screen tearing. * The frameless design looks really clean. It sits next to my other monitor and the thin bezels make the two screens feel almost connected. No likes: * The stand only tilts. No height adjustment at all. I ended up putting mine on a small riser. Would I pay full price for this product: Yes Final thoughts: This is a really capable monitor for the price. If you need height adjustment, plan on a riser or a VESA mount.

Absolutely! This is one case where I wish I had not stayed so excessively frugal for so long, holding on to my previous, smaller monitor. Superlative color accuracy, brightness, and sharpness are all provided through this beautiful monitor! The ultimate value for money, achieved through the purchase of this ASUS monitor, confirms my impression of this brand! This spectacular ASUS monitor raises the everyday experience of computing on all levels. I want to add a special appreciation for the almost non-existent side panels which allow a very wide screen to fit in a very conservative space limitation, especially for such a wide, spacious monitor, nice! Bought two of these to replace a 24" dual monitor setup I have had for many years. These monitors are performing top-notch. I did a lot of research before deciding on these ASUS monitors. They have not disappointed in any way, with the exception of getting Windows 10 to load the specific driver for this monitor. ASUS should have included the driver disk with the monitor (yeah, it's a cost saving issue with ASUS). I have been working on PC's and laptops for 35+years and these monitors provide outstanding performance and having two of these set up in a dual monitor configuration gives excellent viewing real estate. At this price point, the bang for your buck can't be beat. I would highly recommend this monitor to anyone looking for a new or upgraded option.

the colors are accurate, the image quality is good, perfect for streaming my nintendo switch to the big screen when I wanna game at home. It doesn't have speakers so you need a separate audio system, I use a bluetooth speaker connected to my switch. It's a good size screen with minimal frame around it, brightness is easy to adjust as is color ratio. Only has one HDMI input which is fine. This won't have vision perfect resolution with godly audio it just is a normal monitor for a really good price. If you just need something reasonable for your pc or to stream your switch to this is PERFECT.

Clear IPS with no flickering. Has very good color values and deep black. Even good enough for outdoor use (sun not directly on display). VESA mount is sturdy even with how light weight this is. Used with a Ryzen 7 and AMD 780M mini cube PC.

I needed to get a new monitor after my ASUS 23" gaming monitor started showing ever-increasing vertical lines. This 27" was cheaper than the 23" I bought a little over a year ago. While it didn't have the same bells and whistles as the other model, the quality is crystal-clear and the set-up was almost non-existent. The only thing I had to do was set up the stand and then plug in the power and HDMI cables. The fastest hardware swap for me to date.

Great monitor! I use a MacBook Pro for graduate school and sometimes get tired of looking a the small screen. Someone gave me a monitor to use with it, which was great, but I realized an additional monitor would make things even better. I purchased this monitor for doing school coursework (connected with USB-C), so I am unable to speak on its gaming capability. When I compare it with my other monitor (Samsung), I think the graphics and picture quality are much better on this ASUS, especially for the price point. Overall, this is a great monitor, and I would recommend it to others.

This monitor does 100hz and on eco mode, runs on 14 watts! Why isn't this the main thing ppl are talking about? You could hook this puppy up to an external battery pack and play TOTK for hours on a 27in screen and it'd draw less power than the RV lights. Now if you don't care about power consumption, then the only flaws are that the picture quality isn't the best, but it's also not bad either. There is some light bloom or bleed on on the sides. But for a sub $200 monitor I don't think you can get any better. This is a huge step in the right direction. Now if those 240hz, 4k monitors can get down in power consumption, wooo baby.
