Left me feeling frustrated every time I tried. I cannot bend around my leg and see the ankle well enough to use a .25 inch hook/ clasp. Too bad because they are cute.*********************************************************************These are attractive comfortable shoes. Unfortunately the clasp/ buckle system is not explained anywhere... and as a result the last reviewer returned the sandals. Manufacturer take notice: INCLUDE INSTRUCTIONS!! It is a sort of quick release system that I figured out after 10 minutes of playing with it... Almost gave up. You never actually "unbuckle" the strap you just slide the buckle part upwards to remove it from a small U shaped metal piece located on the the rear strap. To re- attach you slide the front strap with buckle back into the u shaped piece attached to the rear strap. There is a small amount of elastic on the U shaped section to help realign the straps together. In my opinion this elastic could be a lot longer.... and easier to see, easier to attach, easier to notice something is going on here.. It may take some getting used to this system because it is hard to bend my head far enough over the side of my legs to see over the ankle. You have to be a contortionist :-) Otherwise these are nice looking, feel good on the feet, no rubbing, smooth foot bed with a bit of cushioning. Could have more arch support. And the 2nd strap on the heel of the sandal could use a bit of elastic to make it more of a custom fit. True to size. I generally take an 8- 8.5 . I am a solid size 9B and this fits everywhere but around the ankle. I am going to have to put an extra hole in the strap to make it fit more snug. I literally walked out of these. The design around the ankle needs modified for sure. The buckle is a mildly tricky but manageable for me, but you must have patience with it, and once you get the hang of it you will be okay. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Fashionable and comfortable sandals *by W***I on Reviewed in the United States πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ on August 4, 2016* I ordered ACORN Women's Samoset T-Strap Sandals in Teak, size 7 M US they fit just as expected true to size. These sandals hug my feet just fine and do not chafe nor irritate my feet. I have had them for a while now and wear them constantly I even broke out in a sprint when I was walking me dog no problems and have worn them all day too. I love these shoes they are my favorite very feminine. The seller graciously allowed me to exchange the same product for another because it was defective and caused discomfort. I received my new item just as expected on time and fit perfect very comfortable.The strap is an exclusive Acorn quick release buckle, which is supposed to make them easier. Regardless, of the strap I personally really like, but some find it difficult I think it is a great buy.The sandals have a special type of buckle strap that resembles that of an adjustable bra strap, you know the ones you can make strapless almost a C shape clasp. I have added some photos, so you can have a better idea of what it looks like because you do not actually unbuckle it, but instead, hook it against the buckle. You can easily change the positioning of the buckle with the holes. It works pretty easy, I personally like. You are supposed to hook the smaller strap with the C shape clasp against the other end of the strap with the buckle. This is where most people have difficulty because you have to bend down towards the ground and hook (slide) the clasp onto the buckle. As if you were going to tie your shoe and you have to pull the strap with the buckle straight towards you and with the other hand you hook the C-shaped clasp in the space before the buckle; therefore, the clasp stays put with a strap buckle. The strap has three holes for adjustment, for some reviews these holes were not enough room and they added another hole, so you could just slip your foot into the shoe. To release the strap, you simply have to pull the strap with the buckle and holes up while holding down the C-shaped clasp. *As a helpful tip I recommend sitting down while trying to fasten the buckle as well as when you want to release the buckle. Doing this makes it easier than when you are trying to do it while standing.I really like the material is soft and seems durable with a non-slip rubber outsole great for traction in cases the floor is slippery. Not to mention the heel cushion and the overall support the inner sole provides throughout the day. I have gone for long walks with my dog at the park and had no problems with these sandals. These sandals are very comfortable and fashionable. They easily can go along with any outfit because they are a neutral color it complements almost any outfit.
