Clarks Women's Cynthia Avant Peep-Toe Pump

I have noticed these shoes run a half size bigger than my regular size. I know because I have purchased Clarks before and noticed that my shoes or boots were too big. This time I ordered accordingly, and these fit perfectly. I ordered the black leather, and they are great! I also want to note that these shoes feel better with pantyhose. I have not tried the toeless ones yet, but regular pantyhose are comfortable. These shoes are cushiony inside and they are wearable all day. This classic style is perfect for a conservative office environment for summer but also nice for weekend casual chic without nylons if you don't want to wear flats. The heel's height is visually attractive and stylish without looking too suggestive at work, but dressy enough for night time. I would LOVE if these shoes came in more electric colors because style and comfort would mean having to buy them in every color imaginable! I love that these come in several width choices. These are not matronly shoes! :)

This is a very elegant shoe which does not skimp on comfort. The foot-bed is really well padded and comfortable. i usually wear lower heels and I can truly say that the height of this shoe did not bother me and the heels felt sturdy and good support for my weight. The reason I did not give it four stars - the toe box was a little tight (a bit extraordinary for a Clarks shoe) and there is really no give. Still wearable and is good for work or for going out after work as well.

It's just my luck that such a well made shoe from a company that has obviously thought about fit and wear would hurt my feet!This shoe is really well made. The cushioning on the sole, the padding at the heel and the hell length are all exactly as they should be. Only Cole Haan's Nike Air pumps come close to offering the same kind of comfort of Clark's Cynthia Avant Peep-Toe.But to my surprise, the stitching around the peep-toe gives me blisters. About an hour into wearing the shoes, I'll end up with crippling pain, so I always have to wear the shoes with blister pads. I have never had this problem with a shoe before, and it could just be that my toes are too fat, or something, so buyer, beware. It's an amazing shoe, but you might want to think of getting the closed-toe. I'm sure it would be a 5-star worthy!

Haven't had a chance to really wear these pumps yet for an extended period of time, but very happy with the choice I made. I needed a pair of very comfortable pumps, since a couple of months ago, I ended up with Plantar Fasciitis in my right foot. So, I didn't want too high of a heel, and the pump needed to be comfortable inside. I will be wearing them with my orthotic devices, so I wanted to be sure the pump wouldn't be too tight. I wear a size 7 1/2 normally, although, I always wear a size 8 with a closed pump because of my bunions. I also decided, since I wanted to put something inside the shoe, and many times my feet swell during the summer heat, that I should get a wide width, even though I normally wear a medium. Well, they are just perfect, and very comfortable, even with my PF! The peep toe doesn't cut into my toes at all. The leather is soft, and the pump is very cute on. So glad I bought them!

I don't love wearing heels anymore. I wore them a ton when I lived in the South and drove myself around everywhere, but not so much living in DC. Heels aren't really practical unless I wear them to dinner parties or around the office. Otherwise, they just slow me down and get destroyed as I run around town while using public transportation. Also, I'm clumsy and fall a lot. I bought these for an upcoming wedding I'm a bridesmaid in, and I've been wearing them around my office to break them in before said wedding. Real talk: these shoes don't need any breaking in. They fit like a glove, they're unbelievably comfortable, and the heel is the perfect height. I want to buy 2384203498 more pairs so I never run out, because they are that great. Stop reading this already and buy yourself a pair. You're welcome.

1.) This shoe is sexy looking! It will work great at the office or for going out :). I give it 5 stars for looks!!2.) The shoe was too big for me, but I actually wear a 10.5 (which they don't have in this shoe). If you are a true 11 this will probably fit you well. I inserted some thick moleskin stick-on-pads to the inside of the shoe in the places it felt big and it fits better now. My foot doesn't come up out of the shoe when I walk now :).3.) This shoe isn't the comfiest out there. But, it is comfier than most other pumps and heels I've worn. Like all heels and pumps, I wouldn't take a walk in these, but for shopping, work or going out they will be fine I think. Your foot does tend to slide forward inside the shoe and get a little sqeezed by the peep toe...4.) Price is a little steep, but Clarks shoes aren't cheap anyway. I'm hoping they last a while considering the price tag.

I became a fan of Clarks after purchasing a pair of pumps that are no longer available. However, I still have them. I wear a wider width shoe and even though Clark's does not make available wide widths in all of their styles, the ones that they do are generous, stylish and the fit is perfect. This is the second pair of this style that I have purchased, so that says a lot. Maybe they will expand the colors even more- red would be perfect. I expect good quality, style, and a fair price when purchasing shoes. Clarks delivers.
